Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair — Local services in Petoskey

Decided to check out the autocross event. My wife and I really enjoy derby racing and try to go to as many as possible. This event could be so much better if the fair worked with the other derby coordinators. The flag men just standing around not paying attention; the parts left on the track while still racing is a big safety concern, need more equipment to help in-between races to get track back in shape local companies could be contacted for help with this. There is much more that needs attention but maybe talk with another derby coordinator and try and work out a deal for help training the event crew or just hire them to run the event. Mind in 2 races alone they left a steel bumper on for an entire race even after a long pause because someone drove through a fence, but also left and entire wheel and strut assembly...

Facilities and grounds are all very well maintained and clean. High quality barns and still life building. Not a ton of food options. Small fair, but easy to navigate the grounds.
