Love the specialty food items, such as their fresh vegetable selection, Italian breads and rolls, in addition to their fine divine chocolates. Aldi supermarket is always stocked appropriately – for customers to shop their favorite food items. Shopping isles and food storage areas are immaculately kept, ensuring optimum food safety.
The majority of Philadelphian residents who shop at Aldi greatly appreciate a home store that prides itself on cleanliness, this without the shadow of doubt – is what keeps customers happy.
Pros: The replacement of employees that were very rude to customers – proved to be the right move for this particular location. There were many times that I received horrible and atrocious customer service. I am happy to note – that I gave my Aldi local market another chance – which now keeps me coming back as one of their loyal customers.
Aldi circulars often list specialty foods at a very reasonable price, in addition to in-store mark downs that help feed families resting on a budget.
Cons: A nice addition – would be for Aldi local stores to provide plastic or paper bags for customers. Too often – have to wait longer than you should – due to lack of...
Read moreAldi's is the best run store I know, aisles are generally more spacious than Trader Joe's and even during supply shortages, like cheese for instance, they bought what seemed like more expensive items to replace their own line, and sold them at a reasonable price.
Employees are generally very well trained and helpful. They run through new cashiers till they find the right fit, and they listen to customers. When I had an issue, I filed it on their website and it was handled.
Their merchandise does not cover all of my needs, but everything I do buy from there is excellent quality and an incredibly low price. Also lots of pleasant surprises - Christmas Marzipan made in Germany (I recommend the dark chocolate covered bar) and much more.
I do know that the manager is very important to the running and morale of any organization. My store has a great manager, and my impression is that Aldi's does believe in exceptional customer service from the top down.
They earn their stars. I...
Read moreI love Aldi. Especially this one. I can get mostly everything I need to prepare really great and fast meals for my family. Some of the things that I love are their produce (check the dates on the bagged salads though. Their diapers are the cheapest ($10.99-14.99 per box of diapers!). I also love that they sell egg whites in a carton, boxes of mussels that you can cook in a skillet in less that 10 mins, 100% pineapple juice, real cranberry juice, a selection of wild caught fish, giant Argentina wild caught shrimp, scallops, quinoa & some vegetarian/vegan options. I wish they would bring back the Earth Grown beefless crumbles & chickenless strips! Some of the best meatless options I’ve had and they were very affordable. They also have a good selection of cheeses. If you like to eat pretty healthy, they have a lot of good things to try. Aldi’s makes meal prepping fast and...
