Citrine — Local services in Philadelphia

Working with Citrine for our November 2024 wedding was an absolute dream. When we first started planning, we hadn’t really considered the logistics of rentals. We had a vision for how we wanted the space to feel, but no idea how to bring it to life. Bigger rental companies had an overwhelming amount of inventory—most of which wasn’t our style—and we would’ve still had to handle everything ourselves, from designing the setup to ironing tablecloths and napkins (and we don’t own an iron, so there’s that too).

We decided to reach out to Citrine just in case—and we’re so thrilled we did. From the start, Alex was the creative professional we didn’t know we needed. She asked all the right questions, made sure we had everything covered, and coordinated all the details with our caterers and venue for us.

Her professionalism and expertise were clear from day one, but her creative vision is where she really shines. We gave her a haphazard Pinterest board, and she transformed it into a dreamy, absolutely perfect setup. We still get compliments on how beautiful the dinner was, and those shots are some of my favorite photos from the wedding.

We truly feel like we hit the jackpot with Citrine. If you’re debating between a more DIY approach or working with Alex, trust us, it’s more than worth it.

Alex is one of those young event professionals to watch. She has been "quietly exploding" onto the scene in the Philly area, with pop up dinners, collaborations, design and rentals, and now her own event space and venue. She is not only personable and sweet, she is a smart entrepreneur and savvy businesswoman. Alex sees a space and immediately has a design idea. She is able to conceptualize large and small event design, and her rentals are so fabulous and unique. If she doesn't have it, she can get it for you. I've worked with her on a few occasions where I said "I need this" and within a few hours we had a full design concept. She's amazing and I highly recommend her. We planned an event via Citrine for my husband's 40th birthday. We're originally from Philadelphia but have moved cross country and had to plan everything remotely. Alex handled everything from A to Z. I am typically a control freak and all things considered I felt very comfortable giving up the reigns and trusted Alex and her team fully. The Chef curated an excellent menu, Alex guided us in the right direction, the vibe, and tablescape were impeccable and more importantly the event was soo memorable.
