I really want to give Island Nail five stars. I've been coming here to get my nails done on weekends in the past few months. My first time, Mary did my nails. She did a excellent job. My nails didn't chip and colors didn't fade. I came back for a refill, another tech did my nails because Mary is on vacation. I was a bit nervous but she proved that she can definitely do some really cute nails. Don't know what happen, but on December 23, I came around 5:35. The front door is locked. One of the nail tech ask me what I needed, when I told her a refill, she says they were closed. Then I ask what time they close, she reply 6:30. Then she tells me again they were close without any explanation. I guess my business is not appreciated, that's ok, one thing about Philly, TOO MANY...

The place was clean and followed covid guidelines thou the plastic shower curtain that devide you and the stylist were dirty Biggest issue was the lack of understanding English . They understand very little hard to communicate. When I asked for OPI Cajun shrimp color she could not understand so she disappeared until I picked something

My pedicure chair was position under the AC vent so I asked for spa pedicure and got a extremely cold spa treatment not enjoyable

don’t come here, they overcharge for measly and I mean measly work, she cut my real nails way shorter than I asked and had no choice but to even them, there’s bubbles in the gel polish, glitter from other polish in my color that I did not want nor ask for and then when I asked her how was the pedicure $50 she made up different ways to add up to 50 and then had The nerve to Call me annoying because I’m asking for the price and I told her I’m being annoying because your work is shit
