For Mother’s Day, I booked a helicopter ride for my wife and 2.5 year old son. He loves helicopters. It’s really cute. I figured what a special thing for them to both take their first helicopter ride together. Our son was excited, we got our email confirmation, and set out to ride the helicopter.

That’s how the trip started. The trip ended with our son crying and screaming “helicopter! I want helicopter!” Why? Because these folks decided to cancel the flight and not tell us.

So we’re standing at an airport an hour and a half away from our house while our son is screaming and when “Cal” called back and told me they reached out to everyone. I asked “how did you try to reach me?” And he admitted that they didn’t. He then asked “what do you want me to do?” and went on to say that someone had to move cross country and that “we’re all human”.
