Horrible experience, paid $30 for 2 hours nothing wrong with that, next we get placed on a lane everything is going the vibe is there & everything. 5 mins into bowling our bowling balls kept getting stuck, politely went and asked to get it reset and working again. Gentleman came over and fixed it, another 5 mins in happens again I’m like okay no problem I go and ask again, we get it fixed, then for the next 30 mins our bowling balls kept getting stuck over and over again (happened at least 7 times yes I was counting lol) At this point, i asked why is this happening he tells me oh, the camera sensor keeps messing up or something & we are apparently bowling too quick, mind you we wait at least 30 seconds before rolling the ball again. I’m like huh, like no way we are bowling too quick so I was like if we could get switched to another lane. They tell me that there is a league coming in an hour, I’m like wtf does that have to do with me, I paid with my money just like everyone else. At this point I wanted a refund cause I had enough, yea never got my refund. Just a horrible experience never going here again, I’ll rather drive out 2 hours to go bowling then come to this place that up the street from my house. This placed saved the day! I booked another bowling alley for my boyfriend's birthday party and after not being able to get in contact with them via phone, I showed up in person on the day of the party only to find they were closed down and no one reached out to me. I was referred to Thunderbird Lanes on Castor Ave. and they were so understanding of the situation and immediately ready to help. They were able to accommodate my guests, worked within my budget and the staff were extremely warm and professional! The party was a success and everyone had such a great time. Today my family of 3 wanted to go bowling. We called this establishment asking if they had any available lanes if we could reserve one, hours prior. The lady on the phone confirmed they had available lanes and we were able to book one from 8:30-10:30pm. I said great, and she took down my information. 8:20pm comes around and my family makes our way to the bowling alley just to be told that they’re closing at 9pm today. When questioned why, we were met with nothing but a nonchalant, unapologetic explanation that sometimes they close at 9pm.
