Shockingly bad experience, given the high number of stars. They came out to look at our oven whose temperature wasnt setting right. They put in a new igniter. This cost several hundred dollars. After a few days it was clear the issue with the oven still wasn't fixed, so they came back to take a look. However, they didn't stay long enough to do proper diagnostic to figure out what was wrong. The repair guy was very dismissive of claims that the oven still wasnt working. The repairman kept saying "that's impossible" when we said it wasn't working, and dismissed my wife's descriptions of the temperature failures in a sexist way, saying she was just "confused." The repairman left because the oven seemed to work during his rushed diagnostic. But he didn't do a full diagnostic, simulating what it's like when you're actually baking something. A few days later, it turned out it still didn't work. When I called them again, this time they said that if they looked at it a third time, they'd charge us more. But they also weren't willing to give us our money back, for the failed repair! Eventually we decided to just eat the money and call a different appliance service, Appliance Brothers. Appliance Brothers was far better. Use them instead!! They took one look at the oven and determined the entire control panel was bust and we needed a new oven. Well, why didn't Appliance Zone make that same determination in the first place? Why didnt they do slow, systematic diagnostics to get to the right answer? Why were they so dismissive of complaints the appliance still wasnt working? I am suspicious they knew all along the oven needed to be replaced, but figured they'd sell us on a new igniter first. Totally dishonest, if my hunch is right. At any rate they should have given us some of our money back once it turned out their repair failed. I feel like Appliance Zone basically stole our money....

Initial call, repair guy asked very little questions, only wanted to know what needed to be fixed, the address and if you had the $90. He arrived same day with a backpack and a tool bag, walked to the appliance and was like oh yeah I didnt realize this the type or model you had, I cant do anything with this. I told him he never asked any of that information, before he went into what the problem could be and what it would cost. He was just throwing numbers out there speaking repair man language like I know any of that stuff. He pulled the appliance out took out his drill unscrewed a few things and was like yeah I dont have the right equipment for this model. Put everything back and immediately had his hand out for the $90! Im like wow! this dude really took me for a ride, I paid him but never again will I be a sucker. I want to thank him for the $90 lesson on how to not get scammed from repair men, because I still have a...
Read moreThis service company was not recommended to me, and was found on a simple Google search. Some rare times, these things work out well! My LG washer sprung a leak coming from underneath during the rinse spin cycle. I called Orlando and he answered on my first call (that's refreshing). He wanted to come that day (wow, people really still do that?) but I couldn't fit it in my schedule. So we scheduled for the next afternoon. Orlando arrived on time, was very personable and friendly. I showed him the washer, he opened the top, quickly identified the issue, cleaned the tube that was leaking and reinstalled it, and told me that the machine will work, but probably will need to be replaced in a year or two, but not today. Orlando was extremely fair in his pricing, very affordable. I have not had a problem with the washer since he was here. Thank you Orlando! You saved the day. I recommend him highly and would definitely...
