Zipf's Candies — Local services in Philadelphia

I try the local candy stores wherever I go. Zips is one of the best. Why will I get many things I always get dark chocolate marshmallows and dark chocolate raspberry jelly. They have the best of both of these items. Their chocolate is excellent but this is one of the few places where the raspberry jelly has a good strong raspberry taste. What a lovely female who owns this store. I wandered in one day and she was so kind. She gave me some little greeting cards and wouldn’t let me pay for them allow I had not bought any candy from her yet. I did make a small purchase after that although she said that was not necessary at all. The shop has a wide variety to choose from and the chocolates I purchased were delicious. Looked up store hours this morning and realized I've never written a review...

.. grew up a block away from Zipfs. Been coming off and on for over 40 yrs..one of the hidden gems that makes Chestnut Hill great.. now that I'm a dad who spoils his 4 year old, I am probably at Zipfs a little more than I should be.

Friendly service. Great selection. Awesome candy. What neighborhood stores should be.
