Ayad's Barber Shop — Local services in Phoenix

They supposedly have a sign that charge $20, but when paying, the guy charged me $35. Ended up paying $42 because I thought it would be nice to leave a 20%tip. My son (7year old) got a basic haircut. My nephew was there the day prior, and they charged him $20 with a more detailed haircut. I tried calling, and no one answered. Prices do not make any sense. They have a sign that says $20 I was just dumb for letting the guy over charge me. Would NOT trust them and well...

They were playing Mariachi music so loud you couldn't think straight. Me being of white European heritage I was passed over twice until another less biased barber brought it to biased barbers attention. I'd been getting haircuts there for years. I'd moved away for a short period of time and didn't know the ownership had changed hands. I'll never go back. I guess they have enough customers so losing one...

The place is totally different from the pictures that other people have posted... It is very clean and modern. I stopped in at 9 am on a Saturday. The young man that opened up didn't know a word of English, but with some respect and friendliness I was able to communicate what I wanted. I would have gladly given 5 stars if we could have communicated...
