WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!
We rented a water slide, tables, and chairs from this ridiculous excuse for a company.
When we rented from them, we were under the impression that they were professional. They came and set up the slide with no problem. Before leaving we were given the option to either have the slide picked up later that evening, or have the slide picked up the next morning. It seemed much more convenient to have everything picked up in the morning. The driver said that they would be at the house at 6:30-7:00 AM to pick up the slide.
Fast forward to the next morning...
We arrive back at my in-law's house to be avail to have the gate unlocked and ready to help where we can with carrying tables and chairs at 6:00 AM.
I call multiple times to see where the driver is at 7:00AM. There is no answer. I leave a voicemail, and finally get someone to call me back at 7:54. I am told that they are on the other side of town and wouldn't be at the house until much later. I mentioned that we have church at 9, and that nobody would be home, I was told just to leave the gate unlocked. I told the driver that I did not feel comfortable leaving the gate unlocked with nobody at the house because it is not my house and that the owners had already left for the morning. As if this wasn't enough, I was told that it was MY fault because I didn't tell him that we had church at 9. When I tried to tell him that it was HIM that told me they would be here at 6:30, he interrupted me time after time after time. I could not get any words out. I wanted him to understand that as a company, he set the expectation that they would be here between 6:30 to 7:00. I am not unreasonable. If only he would have called and said ,"something came up, we can't be there by 6:30, we will be there at so and so time." That way I could make arrangements to make sure someone is at the house. Again, when I tried to explain this, I was constantly interrupted. I asked if I could finish a sentence in the conversation, he angrily refused and hung up.
It was at this point that my fiancé called someone else at C&J to explain the awful experience we were having.
After this conversation the driver called me back, but again would not let me speak. He said that another driver would be at the house by 8:30. I tried to speak with him calmly, but he was not having it, and would not let me speak. He told me that I just didn't understand business.
A simple call could have helped this situation greatly. But that was too much to ask.
I do not appreciate how we were treated. We signed your contract. We paid you. Our end of the contract was upheld. Is it too much to ask that you provide standard customer service in return?
We rent slides or bounce houses every year for our children's parties. And not just me, but so does everyone in our family. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know to avoid doing business with this company. Unless you want to be treated as poorly as we were.
I have definitely learned my lesson, and my money will be spent with a company that deserves it from now on.

Read moreI made a reservation for a water slide for my kids party almost a full 2 months in advance. Debbie gave me a package deal for a slide with 3 tables and 18 chairs. I was told the slide I wanted was going out of service but it had not been taken off the website. Debbie then told me not to worry because the new slide would "be comparable to the Oasis" and I could just have that one. She took my info and made a reservation. Almost 6 weeks later, and 2 weeks before my party, I called with a question about the slide installation. Debbie then told me that I would need to choose another slide either a slide called Blue Thunder or a dolphin slide. I was given time to "decide" which one. I then asked about the package deal that I had reserved. I was then told the tables and chairs would now be additional--so they, without my knowledge or consent, changed our agreement and decided not to honor the original one. After looking, both these slides were quite large and neither was at all the same size as the Oasis. I knew these would not fit in my backyard.
I called Debbie the next morning and told her those slides were to large. I asked about the one on the site that was, in fact, the same size as the Oasis. She told me those had all been rented. She offered to call other customers to see if anyone would be willing to take a larger slide and give me the smaller one. She told me she would call me that evening. By 5:30 p.m. I had not heard from her and called back. She told me she had only gotten other customer's VM, so she couldn't confirm anything. I cancelled my reservation.
I had thankfully found a highly-rated company that had a slide to fit my yard. I told them about my experience with C&J Jumpers and the manager felt so badly that she agreed to give me a significant discount and match the deal I had supposedly been given by C&J. This company saved my kids party! Meanwhile Debbie never apologized and their bait-and-switch caused me significant stress and could have ruined my children's party. I would never recommend this company and I somehow wonder if the positive ratings they have are not coming from...

We reserved a Nemo themed bounce house for my daughter and nephews birthday party. They said they would be at the house at 9am, they did not show up until 11am!
When we booked the reservation we made sure to let them know the bounce house would be a good distance away from the house in the grassy area of the cul-de-sac. When they arrived they ask US if we had an extension cord, we didn't. They refused to go back to their "business" and get one and refused to go to the Ace Hardware 2 minutes down the street and get one. They tried to tell us that we told them it would be directly in front of the house, lie! Then they tried to put it in the driveway but then "didn't have any sandbags".
They then told us they had a huge party to go set up for but they would come back between 1:30 and 2. (If your headed to a big party why aren't yout prepared??!!!)
2:30 rolls around we try calling them multiple times, no answer. Finally a call goes through and I ask nicely where they are and how long it would be. This person that sounds like a kid proceeds to tell me they aren't coming and they've tried calling us multiple times, another lie! I ask why they aren't coming and he tells me because of what happened "this morning" and because he is now running PERSONAL ERRANDS. So because YOU GUYS weren't prepared that gives you the right to ruin a 2 & 5 year olds birthday party!
I pretty much beg this guy to come and that I will even go out a buy a damn extension cord and he tells me no. At that point I'm extremely upset since the party starts in 2 hours and I just hang up. Of course I feel so bad because the kids were so upset.
I urge everyone to go with a different company. Extremely unprofessional...
