Overall, this was a very cool and fun experience. It was our first escape room, and we loved the immersive experience. We went with the “medium” difficulty room, (Toymaker), because the “easy” room (Spirit Trap) was not a family friendly theme (kids dying and suicide).
There are a couple reasons I would give this 3 stars. We arrived early, but our room started 10 minutes late so our party of 10 was waiting quite some time. There was no one there to greet incoming guests so I peeked in offices and down hallways to check in. Eventually I found someone inside what turned out to be our escape room. I couldn’t help but take in some details, which made the entrance a little anticlimactic. As the party host I was frustrated at having to search for staff. The schedule allows 30 minutes for staff to reset rooms between guests, but with starting 10m late and a 5m prep talk before our official 60 minutes I can see how they don’t have sufficient time. It seemed only one person was staffing the place, and while he was helpful and friendly, it was an awkward start. Perhaps they could close the door while resetting so guests looking for help don’t see into the experience. I called prior to physically searching for help and the phone went directly to voicemail. I suggest if only one staff member is present, maybe they should take a phone with them if they cannot man the front desk?
In the experience they have a tablet where guests can access clues, which was helpful and worked for our group, but the staff had to come in twice to assist us because not all of the puzzles worked properly. It was great to have helpful guidance, but would have been a little nicer for things to work. It was also not exactly clear which puzzles we had solved, vs which we were working on, but idk if that was because it was our first escape room, or if some team members didn’t read carefully, or what. Eventually we caught on but, it sort of added to the sense of confusion. I suggest maybe broadcasting it on the monitor with a distinct sound effect might help, like, “You have solved puzzle 3!”
The event had some super cool effects that felt all-sensory, so that was really fun. Everyone got really into the experience, so it was cool to have everyone feel like their input contributed to our success.
Some of the items were a little janky, like drawers that were missing handles or misaligned, and books with spines torn off. This didn’t quite fit the vibe of the articulate introduction video, especially since most of the books were in beautiful shape… then again antique books with a certain “look” can be hard to find.
It was an eclectic interior design. The shelving still had assembly stickers still on the underside (A, F, etc)… one of the kids was convinced they were clues and explaining assembly of DIY mass-produced furniture challenged my suspension of disbelief.
To use the bathroom beforehand, we had to walk through what felt like the backstage of the operation, with extra furniture, decor, etc. We also had to step over several extension cords and walk around VR equipment…. that made it feel a little unfinished and under construction. The lobby and entrance to the rooms is well maintained, but I think the management could think more about the guest experience in this regard. Tripping hazards while exiting is especially risky, as everyone is chatting about the experience and not looking down for cords and cables.
All-in-all, the staff member appeared to be working REALLY hard and doing his best to operate a very large space with many tiny details to maintain. Increased staffing would benefit the experience immensely.
In summary, the puzzles were interesting, challenging and fun. Everyone present now wants to do another escape room, so thumbs up! There were some imperfections, but overall it was really a super cool experience. It felt like someone with a deeply creative and intersectional mind constructed the adventures and all had peak moments of excitement, curiosity, cooperation, discovery, tension, revelation, and anticipation!...
Read moreThis was an incredible experience! (Haha). Here are some of my thoughts on the Spirit Trap room: PROS: there were all new puzzles I had never encountered in other escape rooms. Such as interactions with water, vinyls and other old objects things were not given to you easily, you had to work to find the clues, which was exciting and encouraged teamwork Robert (the founder of these escape rooms) was the best Game Master I have ever had. He was sweet, engaging and encouraging to all of us. He gave funny little quips along with the clues as well. He was genuine and open when we asked questions and let us know that there are BIG things coming! All new tech! Very exciting. Spirit Trap was not insanely scary, but it does have its moments. Overall I think it’s good for all ages, including kids! Some CONS: As this is a small, family run business… the rooms are not as intensely immersive as some others I have been to. While Robert explained that there are things in the works to make that happen, the Spirit Trap room is a good example of true simplicity/bare bones room. This con is not enough to sway me from coming back however :)
My Overall experience was amazing, and made ten times better by the hospitality of Robert. My group of 7 and I had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back when they release new rooms! Anyone in the area and even outside, this is a good set of escape rooms to check out— especially if you like to support small...

If you’re looking for a thrilling and immersive escape room experience, Incredible Escape Rooms is the one to beat! We chose the Spirit Trap room and from start to finish, this room was packed with intricate puzzles, eerie atmosphere, and moments that had our group on the edge of our seats.
The setting was well-designed, with every detail contributing to the supernatural vibe. The storyline—revolving around a haunted mansion—had us hooked from the moment we walked in, and the twists and turns kept us guessing the whole time. The puzzles were clever, with a great balance of logic and creativity, and there were some really surprising moments that made the experience feel truly unique.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the game. They provided just the right amount of guidance when we got stuck, without taking us out of the immersive experience.
What really set Spirit Trap apart was the use of lighting, sound, and props, which really ramped up the tension. At times we found ourselves getting lost in the mystery.
Overall, we had an amazing time and highly recommend Incredible Escape Rooms to anyone who enjoys a well-crafted, spooky escape room experience. It’s a perfect choice for groups looking to test their wits while...
