So my fuel for writing this review is not out of general pessimism and/or feeling disgruntled after having gone through two interviews. I ignorantly decided to apply here because I was in desperate need of work. It occurred to me in retrospect that I should have taken the general lack of communication from the owner and a multitude of other issues as a sign that I should look elsewhere. My key reasons for giving this place one star are as follows:
Lack of consistency in their product. You can order the same thing three separate times only to find it tastes differently each time. This is a big deal in any restaurant setting, make sure your employees are able to make the same drink/food so the customer knows what to expect.
Lack of communication and good customer service, and i'd like to clarify some people working here are great at providing exceptional customer service. However, for example, when I came in person to confirm the obvious, that I hadn't gotten the job, the "lead barista" was disappointingly rude. Her behavior came off as abrupt and harsh for no reason. It's definitely an issue when your "leader" is clearly fine with being a jerk to customers because she sets the example for the rest of the team.
The owner is understandably cheap, but in all the wrong places. Promote one of your several lead barista's to a management position so that someone who has the time and patience to deal with the hiring process can accurately take applications and make decisions for you. I say this because she owns multiple businesses and clearly doesn't have enough time to spend on hiring people. She would also prefer to hire inexperienced kids which have never had a job in their life over the opposite presumably because she doesn't want to have to pay anyone more than the minimum. Also, the lack of her response to a single google review (i bet she's never even checked her reviews) proves that she couldn't care less.
In summation, anyone that reviews this place with a five star got lucky on their visit, and is probably most likely not a returning regular customer. Expect inconsistency, long waits, and if you're applying here I'd suggest you look elsewhere unless of course one of the lead barista's has a crush on you, or you know someone that works here, in which case congratulations you probably got the job. I would go just about anywhere else for coffee if I were you, unless of course it's late at night, and...

Desert Eagle is literally a bootleg dutch bros. Yes, i can admit i am a fan of dutch bros but this place is so similar that its weird. (One good example: look at the dutch bros menu and the desert eagle menu. Its literally the same layout and drinks but with different names.) The workers seem so out of it and bored. Last night, i came by myself while i was at an event and i got a tea. I loved it. I came back again 20 minutes later with a few friends and ordered some more drinks. Our "barista" who was taking our order was clearly lost and out of it, because after she realized she zoned out while making our order she said "Wow. I feel so retarded right now. Can you please repeat what you just said?" Who allows that type of language in a work force? After she used that foul language around me and my friends, she gave the order to another barista since she couldnt keep up with us. After waiting for our drinks for more than 10 minutes, they gave us free muffins. After the free muffins, the owner came out to start telling us about how "they dont use preservatives like dutch bros" Ok, thats cool, but who are you to say crap about a company who clearly makes millions more than you? Talking crap about other companies is not going to make people want to come to your company at all. I hate how everyone working there acts so full of themselves. I don't want to come back after...
Read moreThis will be my second time going here with my fiance. Who used to work At Dutch Brothers for 4 years. First experience was a negative one but due to that being when they first opened we decided to give them a second chance today.....and we will NEVER BE GOING BACK. First off, the menu is a copy of Dutch Brothers, just different named drinks. We sat in front of the Order Here sign as the sliding glass door was open. The girl working the expresso shot machine made direct eye contact with us 2 times and not once were we greeted with a high, hello, or smile. SECONDLY, The Asian girl that came out to take our order never said Hi or anything. Her words EXACTLY were "what would you like to order". LAST, the guy who came out to whipe off the tables, had to stop right in front of us to check his phone and text someone before going back inside....and again not even a smile from him. OVERALL, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE needs some basic human interaction skills, learn customer service and don't act like your customers are a bother. We will never ever be going back and I will be informing everyone I know of the 2 times this place provided a complete lack of service. The coffee lastly is nothing even comparable to Dutch Brothers. We will be driving out of our way to receive Amazing customer service from your better competition. These guys won't be in business long. If I could give negative...
