I am one of the few white folks that goes in there so I get alot of w3ird looks. And if your having my review translated and reading this in Spanish right now w3ll now you have an idea who's looking at me with those looks. When you go there late evening round closing don't expect to communicate with any employers there while the background music plays so loud you can't get any of them to help you or even hear you at that. So I'm there in the meat dept lookin to buy 5lbs of country style pork ribs at the great low price of 0.99 and not one of the butcher payin any attention. I had to go find the manager and this is THE part of the review that changed my 2 to a 4 I want to recognize an employee for his very nice, helpful, manager skills and go the extra mile to help out and satisfy his customers shopping needs . Thank you again for making my shopping experience as is expected and for not being one who looks at me like I don't belong in there because of my nationality. Keep up the good managing. Oh yes can't leave out most importantly the little store restaurant inside the store has the most awesome food with a variety of hot meals you can buy to take with or sit inside the clean fun decorated small dining area while watching your favorite sports game. Los Altos Ranch Market has been our choice of where we go to get our childrens birthday cakes for the past 8 years now they have the best 3 tres leche cakes. This place is NOT RUN well at all. Really BAD MANAGEMENT moldy produce, some frozen. The hot food is greasy, doesn’t taste well. The entire store smells like gone bad SEAFOOD. I ordered the a bowl of hot menudo, was full of fat under salted and went directly in the trash. They don’t have anyone to bag your groceries, cashier said they let people bag groceries for tips?! REALLY??? Hire employees to do that. Been to The Phoenix area Ranch Markets at 59th Thomas Central/ Southern 16th St Roosevelt 67th Ave Bethany Home ALL the stores are always dirty, not enough cashiers half the self checkouts are not functioning. But this 33rd Ave Indian School store is byfar the worst I have been too. They make Fry’s Kroger look good, which isn’t that hard to do first of all. Lastly, the prices are very expensive compared to Kroger and surrounding area supermarkets. A large bottle of Best Foods Mayo $7.99?!!!! REALLY!!!! These stores need to be held accountable and customers we need to DEMAND better service from this company. Paying customers shouldn’t have this type of mediocre service. You probably get better service at a food pantry. RANCH MARKETS!!! DO BETTER!!!!! When you make Fry’s Kroger look better than you, and you only have few stores in Arizona, something is wrong with your Top, Regional, Store level management. My husband I want there for other service's in the building and the lady was very nice, now as we're leaving we realize we can grab dinner there so we do and as we're eating and a homeless man came over and asked for some change to buy food. I'm not bothered by that my husband tells him to order what he'd like and he'd pay for it, the cashiers gave him a hard time about the burrito he was wanting my husband had stated he wanted it and he'd pay for it and still they refuse to sell the burrito to the guy so my husband orders him chicken soda and tortillas. The way that man was treated was awful 😢 People need to be reminded that every human comes from different walks of life and need to be respected regardless if they have a roof over their head or not. The Man had stated that he gets treated that way by them all the time. Karma ladies Karma! And also I had went to the snack place for a refill on the lemonade and the guy said they didn't offer refills I was okay with that and he kindly asked the manager and that manger was rude! I was not looking to get it for free or even discounted I just had a cup that needed a refill and he was a real jerk! The new owners need to retrain their employees to respect their customers. After all we are what will keep that place open. I personally will never go back. Awful...
