Mr Maple Donuts — Restaurant in Phoenix

Tried Mr Maple donuts today. Just ordered from the basics: maple/chocolate/glazed. The texture was different than some of the other valley staples. More dense, less airy. The actual donut was not overly sweet. The toppings tasted real as in not artificial tasting, which was a plus. The gentleman working at was kind and told us a little about the background of Mr Maple donuts. Welcome to the neighborhood. The donuts were fantastic. I wasn’t crazy about the pumpkin but the glazed, maple bar and strawberry were phenomenal. My only feedback would be the donut bars were a little small compared to what people expect and the coffee could be a bit better. Everyone working was friendly and helpful and this is easily one of the best donut shops in the city. The donuts taste like old school bakery donuts! By the time we got here there wasn't a very big selection so I would recommend that everybody come early. They've been selling out and they have some really fun flavors!
