Giving a review of a recent nail appointment experience is not an easy task. Never in my life did I expect to come home in tears after a nail appointment, feeling belittled and mistreated by the nail technician. The way my arms were aggressively pulled, the raised voice, and being spoken down to simply because I expressed my honest opinion that my nails were not shaped as I had wanted was truly disheartening. To top it off, paying $65 plus a tip for a disappointing result made the experience even more frustrating. With a photoshoot scheduled for this weekend, the pressure to have perfect nails added to the stress. It's essential to remember that providing feedback, especially in situations like this, is crucial for businesses to improve and for potential customers to be aware of what to expect. This review serves as a cautionary tale and a reminder to always stand up for yourself, regardless of the circumstances.
Ranting Honestly, coming home late at night after a horrible nail appointment and a long day at work should not be followed by a panic attack on a Monday. It's frustrating to spend hard-earned money on people who disregard honest feedback about their work. The incident with the male nail tech questioning the shape of my nails turned sour when I provided an honest response. His aggressive reaction and belittling remarks were unacceptable. Dealing with aggression is something I won't tolerate, especially when seeking a service like a nail appointment. Now, the urgent search for a new nail tech before the weekend adds unnecessary stress to an already exhausting day. It's clear that my experience at that salon was far from satisfactory, and I won't be returning there. Deserving better treatment and respect is non-negotiable, and I refuse to settle for anything less than that.
Oh as a side note, prescription medication was left at the sink. Easily Accessible for to any...
Read moreI had to update my review I had been a loyal customer since the opening of this nail salon at the start management was not great but the new mangers seemed to be better. Both wife and husband always did an outstanding job on my nails but it was the customer service that made me leave permanently.
I had a double charge for $65 which was two weeks later that I realized while on the phone with my bank so they disputed it. When I went back for my fill the manger didnt greet me as usual but asked me why I disputed it and I should have called. I apologized realizing he was right but I figured he wouldn't remembered the charge since it was two weeks prior the whole time I was there he kept expressing how upset he was about it and it made his accounts bounce and he got hit with fees. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable.
My loyalty card filled up quickly since I came in twice a month for both a mani and a pedi I brought my mom here to do our nails one day and with the 10th or 11th stamp it was $15 off when the female owner bring up my card she only discounted $10 and I told her it was 15 and she said "no $10" mind you I spend a minimum of $60 before tip each visit. They aren't honoring what they say and this trip was about $120 for both of us. Wow.
They didn't carry the crystals I like for my nails so I brought in my own and he wanted to charge me $10 to put them on my nails. Seriously $10?? I understand $3,$5 but $10 for something I am bringing in??
Anyway, there work is great but as far as customer service and loyalty its a 1/5. I had to just stop coming...
Read moreI do NOT recommend going to this salon, they have horrible costumer service. I called in before I scheduled my appointment and asked how much they charged for a dip manicure but half way through getting my nails done the owner said that the “manicure” portion (aka cuticle cutting) was an additional $10. I was so disappointed because the price he told me on the phone to get me into the salon was different than what he was actually going to charge me. That is dishonest business. I also entered the store wearing a face shield and he said I was required to wear a face mask, which I am fine with except HE WAS NOT WEARING A MASK HIMSELF! When I asked him where his mask was he aggressively said he didn’t need to wear one because it was his store and only I had to. I responded informing him that the law stated you must wear one inside and he said he was going to refuse service to me. Lol do yourself a favor and go somewhere more professional than this!! I will say that my nail technician did a great job on my nails and was very kind, unfortunately it was overshadowed by the owners unprofessionalism and...
