Only 3 stars however, employees were cordial. 1 star for their altenators and not being able to check them before purchasing. I was told that modern alternators had to be on the car In order to check it because it communicates with the computer on the car. I got a rebuilt one and it was bad right out of the Box.So I took it back and got another one but it was obviously someone's old alternator that had been put in a Box and put on a shelf because it had grease fingerprints all over it and obviously an old one. So now I was stuck. I was then told it would be 5 hours before they could get another one in. so I went to the autozone in Anniston in Lynlock area and got one and back to Piedmont. Now my whole day has been wasted. So what would help the situation? It would be great if there were some way to test rebuilt alternators before someone purchases them. Also needs to have better training to not take someone's returned used altenator and put on the shelf to sell. It would have been nice if an employee would have said something like "I'm so sorry this happened and for the inconvenience. We want to make it right" but there...

This place has always went above and beyond never hesitant on answering phone 2 minutes before they close and willing to unlock door to make sure our vehicles are ready before morning..My wife works for US postal service and does rual route out in the country on country roads can be harsh on vehicles so maintenance is a must.. I can't say enough for our Piedmont Al store they are the best and always positive when we roll in to late....thanks so much for all the employees, who do work there. Couldn't say enough good about this location! Came in with a dead battery and they were quick to find me the best, most affordable selection. The vehicle I drive requires several parts under the hood being removed before the battery can be changed out. It was cold outside. Well these gentleman went above and beyond to go through several daunting steps to get my new battery in place when they could have easily told me to go to a mechanic shop, due to the location of the battery being underneath several other wires and components.
