China Doll — Restaurant in Piedmont

being someone who works in piedmont and loves chinese food, we thought this was the perfect place to eat during the day. the food was decent, and priced pretty well. but we went in for takeout one day, they were still cooking food so we grabbed what was already out and waited for the rest to be brought out. i started splitting my crab rangoon while we waited, and licked cream cheese off of my finger. well the little boy that works there, said that i couldn’t eat while i waited. so i said okay, and licked the rest of the cream cheese off of my finger. he then said that if i didn’t stop eating he was going to kick me out. automatically i felt embarrassed and walked out to my car while my husband waited for the food to make both of our plates. the little boy then told the owners (i’m assuming who are his parents) that i stole food from them and stole more before i walked out to my car, and made my husband pay an extra $15 to cover the difference of what i “STOLE”. we haven’t...

We went there on a Friday night at 8:00 p.m. which the restaraunt doesn’t close until like 10:00 p.m. and there was nothing out for the buffet and I asked for some sweet and sour chicken and she said she would have to cook some but it would not be ready for 20 minutes and not only that we barely had anything on our to go trays and we told the employee that we were just going to go somewhere else and she said that we still had to pay for what we had on our plates even though we were just going to leave our trays there and go somewhere else. Horrible restaurant altogether horrible employee service horrible food horrible everything in general! I will never go...

This place has very good food. It's really nice being able to walk into the restaurant, sit down, and start eating after just a couple of minutes.

Decent selection of foods and the people who work there are very nice and responsive.

Also, the fish they have is amazing. I think it's tilapia with lemon pepper seasoning. Definitely one of the best things there.

I know what you're thinking: "Fish at a buffet??", but trust me; It's delicious.

They also have very good shrimp; all different kinds.

Would definitely recommend and would certainly go back next time I can.

Also, their Jello was perfect 😋.
