Today, my daughter, grandson, a friend and myself visited Pinehurst. We spotted this shop and decided to go in to look at the nice bags. Before we could push the baby's stroller in (very small umbrella stroller), the shop proprietor stopped us and said, "you must not have seen the sign on the door that we do not allow strollers in here." The statement was presented in such a way that leaving was our only option; we were not welcome in the store. We immediately left (of course) because we had just been scolded, and more or less asked to leave, by a woman who didn't even have a customer at the time that I could see, anyway. The other shop keepers were polite, friendly and very welcoming (some had less space in their shops than did she). I will never go back. I saw another reviewer's post from five years ago who had also been turned away due to a stroller and the response this shop gave in regard to that, and I have to say, the shop owner's response was rude and gives consumers an insight as to what type of business this really...

Horrible customer service. We were visiting Pinehurst for the weekend. Had picked out a wallet and handbag I wanted to purchase. Saw a cute pillow I thought a friend might like, went to take a picture to ask if they wanted the pillow, was rudely jumped on for taking the picture. She stated if you are over there taking pictures, they are not allowed, I do not allow pictures in this store! This was in a very rude tone. It would have been different if she came over and nicely stated she prefers pictures aren't taken of her merchandise. I also glanced around and did not see a sign posted that said no pictures. It's all about how you treat the customer. I put all my stuff back and decided not to purchase anything. I also want to point out that the pillow I took a picture of is on her website, so if she was worried someone was going to take a picture of her item and make a copy of it, it's already out there for the...

Have enjoyed thoroughly shopping for my wife and family members in this great addition to the Pinehurst business community. During this awful pandemic, the owner accommodated my request to shop by mail, emailing images of several handbags for possible purchase.
