I travel around a lot and like to visit jewelry stores around the country. This one's unique! I've been in HUGE stores that impress with their size, counters and lighting; but none of that commercialism compares to the charm of this local Pinole jewelry store. Lee Ann took a quaint house and transformed every aspect of it into a showroom for jewelry and art. When you first walk in the front door, the room to the right is a dedicated showroom for various diamonds, including some unique cuts that only they carry. The main showroom seems to have a limitless selection of jewelry. It didn't matter what I was looking for, Lee Ann had something to show me in my price range. Even the house's kitchen was available to walk through as a showroom... this was quite an experience. The top floor is an art gallery. Lee Ann had showings from local artists. Oh, I almost forgot, the reason it's called Garden of Gems is because they actually have the front yard landscaped with a collection of various gems.
