Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Placentia

This is one of the cleanest Ross I have ever been to. They also have a better selection of things to buy. I came looking for outdoor jackets and I ask a lady who was at the front desk (Patty I believe is her name) where could I find the men's jackets? she didn't just point in the direction that they were, she took her time to walk me to where they were. I call that the best customer service I have ever encountered at this Ross at Yorba Linda and I have been going to different Ross stores but not like this one.

I love to come to this Ross to pick up some stuff for myself and buy a few gifts for others. If you look hard enough, you find really nice things at this Ross. It honestly doesn't take long for me to find nice things as they are pretty clean and organized. (a lot of Ross's have things thrown all over the place, like the one I've been to. Overall, this Ross is one of the greatest ones.

I'm not sure how people identify customer service anymore. I feel like a manager is there to make the on the spot decisions. I mean if not and all you do is hang up clothes with a head set on, Alexa could do that....right? There were 6 people in the store exactly 2 front dressing rooms are taken and 2 are empty in the back. I ask the head set lady hey may I use the dressing room in the back, these 2 are full and there 2 already waiting. She says no we don't have anyone to watch you. Not sure what that meant but i left my basket and grabbed the perfume paid and left. I always wonder how do people make sense of treating customers like this. Common sense the store is here for the consumer, not for the employees to stock shelves. If you are going a head set and play manager.....at least no when its appropriate you should on the spot decisions. I write this in hopes someone can help this woman with her...

This Ross is a good Ross friendly staff for the most part definitely nobody was rude but it was a bit messy and the reason why I’m not giving it four stars is although it was messy my husband was witness to one of the kids that came in and like her mom or his mom was standing right there shopping well the kids were opening toys and playing with them and they left a disaster when they left and then I know that even the security guard was helping to clean it up as well as staff members and then down the other isles there was staff members cleaning up like just from daily Shoppers so I have to give it an a for effort with regards to everybody doing their job to the maximum capacity and they weren’t short staffed it was just a bit messy because of the people the shoppers so I haven’t worked in retail but shoppers if you can put things back where you found them I’m sure it would be a lot better...
