Avalon Bagels to Burgers — Restaurant in Placentia

Okay, I want to start by saying that I’ve been coming to this place for YEARS. I’ve been coming since I was a sophomore in high school and I’m now 21. The fact that this place has 4.5 stars is CRIMINAL. Whoever is rating this place 1-2 stars honestly should not have a valued opinion. I work in food service and things happen but I’ve never had a bad experience with ANY of the workers or the food here. They’re always so kind and polite. If you’re a disrespectful and picky customer that’s on you. Every time I come here I order my favorite, the lox bagel. They make the food with care and it always tastes fresh and it’s always hot. It sucks that these workers have to deal with rude and entitled people because this place genuinely deserves its flowers. Not only that, but the environment is welcoming and I like how they encourage the workers to give more than what we ask for, rather than the bare minimum like at places such as Taco Bell. This is one of the best local spots I’ve been to in the area, and I’ve been coming for a very long time. I especially love how they change up the menu every so often. My boyfriend’s favorite burger of all time was the Korean style burger, we hope they bring it back again! Overall, this is a great place with great food and great service. I hope that it gets more and more popular and that they’re able to open even more locations. A lot of the times stuff like this goes so unnoticed and customers really don’t appreciate it. Did anyone know that Avalon Bagels to Burgers has this superbly delicious Bagel Chips? OMGS! I never heard of such a thing, and I tell you, they should put a warning label on the bag that reads: "Warning! These Bagel Chips are addictive" because you won't ever buy any other type of chips for your Guacamole, Dips, etc. or even Popcorn. They last crispy and delicious, for almost 2 weeks, and you'd have to hide them! I'm in trouble! I also would only get a sesame or plain Bagel at other places because I really didn't care for the taste of anything else, and now, since I got whatever other kind I was brought because they had run out, I was surprisingly pleased. I wish I could find time to go to Avalon Bagels to Burgers, but I am far away and my work schedule doesn't give enough time. I have come here a few times for their bagels and coffee, and the experience here is always excellent. I always get an Everything Bagel, toasted, with Cream Cheese, and it is always so delicious. I have had bought a dozen bagels here before where I was able to try a majority of their bagels, and they were all great. I would still prefer their Everything Bagel though.

The customer service is always great and the indoor decor is so nice and cute. Theres a little train that runs on a ledge, on top of the store and it has apparently been running for a while.

The coffee here is okay, but it might be just that time, because people I have come with have said that their coffee was great.
