HORRIBLE! The owner here is a you know what! A few months back I was told I couldn't sell to them i asked why and she said it was because of some incident I was confused on what she was talking about and she called me by another name which I corrected her and told her my name I eve. Showed her my ID card and my drivers license along with my debit and credit cards with my name on it. She didn't seem convinced but let me sell anyways. Between that time and yesterday months have gone by and I had sold there a few times( sold high end items such as gucci, LV, Chanel, ect. Come yesterday the girl working let me check in i was waiting for her to go through my items she then let someone else who checked in after me go ahead of me, I was like whatever. Then I see she isn't doing anything but being on the phone. She said she was calling the owner and was told I couldn't sell there calling me by another name. I again showed my ID and wasn't allowed to sell. Considering she had be waiting around for nothing, I left my number and told the girl to have owner call me. I have yet to be called. Other than that the customer service is awful and I've heard the workers laughing at items people brought in to sell like mean caddy bbbbbb*ssssssss. On top of all that they force you to stay in the store and look around while they go through your items which can take up to 50 mins. You think I wanna sell my stuff just take that money and hand it right back to you? The economy sucks right now, people are selling things to pay a bill, get gas, get food, ect. I was so excited to check this place out but I was so let down by my shopping experience. As soon as I walked in, it smelled like stinky feet, and I don't know if I went on bad day or after a huge rush, but it was so messy and unorganized, [there was even a dust pan on the floor by the purses]which I was so surprised because I had seen so many reviews about how clean and organized this place was. I was so confused by where everything was, no signs, and couldn't navigate the store, I found few cute stuff and when the girl asked me if I had a phone number, I told her it was my very first time there and so she said I can get an account started, she asked for my first and last name and phone number and then proceeded to ring me up and didn't say anything else. So I asked her what it was for, is it a rewards program? How does it work, THEN she finally told me that details and stated that I get 15% during the month of my birthday. She finishes ringing me up, doesn't ask me if I want a bag, yet I had overheard her asking the 2 customers before me and so I asked her if I could have a bag, and then I ask, well so how do u know when my birthday is? And she's like "oh let me add it to your account, when is your birthday?" I tell her "March 3rd" and she's like " oh you should have told me, I could have given you 15% off your purchase today" :/ uh she should have asked me when she first created my account! Very...

I had a really disappointing experience reselling clothes at Uptown Cheapskate. Their website says they accept brands like Madewell, Old Navy, Athleta, Anthropologie, and Obey, so I brought in three bags full of clean, stylish items from those exact brands. When I got there, I was told they only take two bags at a time—even though that policy is not mentioned anywhere on their website. The employee was rude and told me I should’ve called ahead, which felt completely unreasonable. I’ve sold clothes at plenty of other places and have never been told to limit my bags like this.

They gave me a "10% off coupon" with a sensor on it and told me it would only take 10 minutes to process my items. I had to stay in the store while they reviewed my clothes—you're not allowed to leave with the coupon or it will trigger the alarm. I ended up waiting around for about 45 minutes. After all that, they only took five items and gave me just $18. I was considering using the money toward something else in the store, but the item I liked cost more than I was given, so I just left.

Overall, this was a complete waste of time and effort. I made sure to bring in exactly what their website said they were looking for, only to be met with poor communication, unnecessary restrictions, and very little return.
