I’m disgusted with the lack of information, professionalism, and care at this business. I pawned my activated iPad for a little dough. I was told I could not retrieve my device for two weeks because it had to go through a police check. I was told I had two weeks to pick it up after the initial two weeks and it would gain interest daily. After one month it would be up for sale. I returned 16 days after the initial pawn to retrieve my device. They sold it! They didn’t even give me a window to pick it up. The owner told me because I didn’t pick it up on the exact day of the two weeks they could sell it. I’m flabbergasted. I asked for official paperwork - receipts, copy of sold, etc and he couldn’t deliver and didn’t even try to. He seemed annoyed by my presence. Instead he insinuated that I misunderstood and he couldn’t help me. This business has been around for 27 years, the owner isn’t American, and he obviously has no integrity in business. Days when I have to bring items into a pawn shop are pretty crappy days (unless I'm shopping). I have used pawn shops in the past that literally made a joke about my hard times lining their pockets. Fortunately I've learned material things come and go. I had a few things I needed to sell and happens to pass this shop and I'm so glad I did. Mike the owner Brian his partner, Dave the music expert and the Dog security force made my day. Not only were they empathetic but both have great since of humors and were almost to honest lol I had a couple items that he suggested I sell on my own because he wouldn't be able to give me what they were worth. I appreciated that and sold him the items because of his honesty. So if you need a loan or have stuff to sell I highly recommend going to see Mike. The new owner Pawn shop Mike and his co-worker Fast Brian are great and more fair than any other Pawn shops I've been to.

It's in a great spot off of Planefield and their always getting new stuff in. I stop in a couple times a week.

They have MacBooks, laptops, current game systems, retro, all the band equipment you can think of (Gibson Les Paul!) and tons of tools - Milwaukee, Dewalt, Rigid, Craftsman and fine jewelry. Something for every one.
