Casanova Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Plainfield

Have been ordering and getting delivered for about a year. The old owner Joe often delivers to us. He's a great guy. I cannot however say the same for the staff in the restaurant or the miserable quality of the food. The calamari comes soggy ( three times now)and cold, and only half of the amount in an order you would get in the restaurant. We ordered 2 full orders and put together they barely fill one container. We ask for the pizza ( half plain, half pepperoni and mushroom) to be made well done. It comes soggy and barely warm. When we called to complain they tell us well we're too busy to send someone out again. They won't be getting any more orders from us....

Their service is horrible, overpriced food, food quality is adequate. Their delivery service and speed of service is unprofessional and inconsistent. Last time I ordered for delivery it took them almost two hours after placing the order and I wasn’t too far from the pizzeria. The other time I placed an order for delivery I was told by the pizzeria one price over the phone then the pizza delivery guy argues and lies saying a different price. Not the first time this issue happened. Not worth coming...

Ordered 4 Pizzas for delivery a few days ahead for a time sensitive kids party. Paid in advance. Called ahead over an hour before scheduled delivery to confirm everything and was told we were good to go. Delivery time came and passed, 10 minutes later I called the shop. They had no idea about my order and I had to send my husband to pick up (and miss the party) 4 pizzas with no apology. Cranky hungry kids and a party venue ready to kick us out. This place is a disorganized disaster....
