Tacompadres — Restaurant in Plainfield

This place is a dichotomy if I’ve ever seen one. Their website is very clear, with appealing design and easy to use online ordering- that doesn’t actually work. Ok, I call them - no one speaks a word of English. I understand this is Plainfield, but still. I do my best in Spanish, but the guy hangs up on me mid-order. We go to pick up the tacos and place the rest of our order at the restaurant. Not a welcoming/helpful word is said, despite my husband trying his best in Spanish. The tacos themselves are ok, they did not offer any salsa - I’ve still yet to find an exceptional taco restaurant in Plainfield, which honestly shocks me. We also ordered guacamole and an elote. The guacamole was fine, but whatever they gave me in a box (pictured below) is not an elote - it’s an overcooked piece of corn with old mayo in chunks. No seasoning or cilantro to be seen - I didn’t even try it, it looked revolting. And for $4.95 at that! Another failed attempt at finding good tacos...

Highly disappointed because I was enjoying this place, but I refuse to support staff with such bad attitudes. The staff was visibly upset that I asked them to clean the grill before cooking my meal because I am allergic to pork; which there are alot of pork options on the menu. The lady was also upset that I asked for additional condiments that I was willing to pay for! I've been to this place multiple times, but after this experience I will not return and I would advise only English speaking...

What a disgusting service I never ask for it again I made an online order the worker went to pick up my food and a lady who doesn't speak English or Spanish tells him that I haven't paid anything and other shields when I call I tells me that they don't accept orders that she's not going to cancel anything and that I call the company and they hang up on me terrible service I don't recommend it
