I went to Kohl's in Plaistow NH. The worst experience that I have had with customer service. There was no one in line before me. So I walked up to the front of the isle and watched her continue to fold items. I said, "excuse me do I return this item here or is there some other place in the store"? She said that she'll be right with me. I stood there, NO JOKE for approximately 5 minutes watching her fold clothes. Then to take me to a register that was free. I felt like saying, "hey lady! You're the reason why people shop online". I was going to exchange the item because it was falling apart within a month. Maybe even buy a different brand name. Even with my 30 % off and $10 Kohl's cash why in the world would I bring my business to this store! The Plaistow NH STORE IS NOT ONE TO EVER GO TOO! The lady does not belong in customer service. It's us customers who let you have a job in the first place. I understand that there are help wanted signs everywhere. She should definitely start applying to some where there is no contract with people. Since I pay my bill right after I purchase something Kohl's now owes me $50. What a waste of time and money on this particular store. Once I break close to even to what Kohl's owes me I am tearing up this card. Check it out for yourself. Even with the percentage off, Kohl's rewards and or Kohl's cash it's USUALLY still so much cheaper to shop at Amazon. I'll now take my time and return items (if needed) back to Amazon through snail mail. It's definitely still worth the wait. Bye...
Read moreIf I could give less stars I would. I have always loved kohls. I have told all my friends to shop here. Yet after tonight I won't ever again as i don't like dishonest practices. I went in with my son. I picked up multiple items . However, one item In particular was a size 7 Nike sweatshirt. It was on sale by the electronic sign for 19.99. My 9 year old actually pointed it out . It said any size 7 and under on the shelf which was all 7 and under was 19.99 . I thought that was great . Double checked the sign to be sure . 19.99 in bold print. I want to say too that we checked that whole sport section over. When we were there we went to the size 8 to 12 and it said those nike sweaters were 29.99. 10 dollars more for a size up. We decided on the size 7 as my son is tiny so I figured why not. When we went to check out it rang in as 33 dollars . I said no its 19.99. I can go back with you and show you. Within one minute two ladies that work there were at the counter .Scanned the sweater and ran back. They took forever. Then they messaged the cashier and said they saw no sign that said that. I said I couldn't wait anymore at the counter and bought the sweater. Then said I was running back to that section. Both ...BOTH electronic signs had been adjusted at that point . My 9 year old goes "mom those ladies changed the sign, that's not honest." No it sure the heck isn't. I spend nearly 3,000 a year at kohls . Hope the 14 dollar difference was worth a customer who...
Read moreThe reason for the 1 star will be addressed further along. Linda and I had a rather heavy cookware set we were returning to Kohls which had been delivered to the house. We pulled up in front of the store in Plaistow and I decided to call the store and see if possibly someone from the store could come out and help us with this box as both of our knees were extremely painful today and walking was agonizing. They were kind enough to have someone come out and help us. This is where the dream becomes a nightmare. We were parked in front of the left side doors right where returns are handled, the woman said Linda had to go to the other door approx. 100 feet away to walk back right to the inside of the door we were at. After pleading she reluctantly agreed to let her enter that side. After she got in I waited for her in a handicapped space at which point another employee yelled she said she has to come out the other door. I was furious but that went to rage when I witnessed several people who appeared to be friends of employees bringing in returns and walking right back out the same door they entered. This is inexcusable that it's okay for young healthy people to go in and out a door we're told can't be used but have a handicapped woman walk in pain just to have a power trip. Before you start my knees were in worse condition I could hardly get out of the car never mind walk...
