Market Basket — Local services in Plastow

Most all the morning cashiers and creww that work weekdays are very nice. This store has poor rotation of product and you can easily find many out of date or near out date products.

The dropping of a pallet or pallets in an isle to stock the shelves is a big issue there. It's a busy location and hard to meet be through the line of pallets along with not being able to get to get some items on your list. Using a utility cart would be a lot better than stationary pallets on the floor. Poor ordering of product is a huge issue. There are quite a few things I can't get but can get at other nearby Market Baskets in Haverhill.

Some of there meat cutters are not that good. Uneven cuts look like they were done by a 12 year old. If you buy a multi pack of steaks they are all different thicknesses and not by a little but by a lot. They will fold an extra blood pad under an uneven steak to make it look even.

The deli can be a trainwreck depending who is working. Some will yell out 2 number quickly back to back with no slight pause between numbers. Then that sometimes leads to customers debating who is really next even though you have a ticket starting you're really next.

The store has issues that can be fixed easily. Over 20 years shopping there I have not seen an attempt to make...

I'm a 16 year old teenager i've worked with Market Basket for about a year, it's not the best work and sometimes it's very tedious, usually when the manager tells you to do something it's for the better of the store the enjoyment of the people. That's why it's always so packed, that's why were able to get paid more, that's why people want to come here, or prices aren't that high because we do a good business, some people were saying how the prices inflated after the strike, how does that make sense when the street was three years ago, prices go up when people have to get paid more and look at places like Shaws we are way cheaper than them their prices go up to like everywhere else, we're how people complain about how busy it is, the reason why it's busy the reason why everyone's here the reason why you are here is all because we have the best prices the best business, and were the only damn store who has all the registers open unlike shaws and Walmart that will have 3 out of 20 registers open and have lines to the back of the store when there's only six...

Market Basket hands down is absolutely the best place to shop this is probably one of the first reviews I've ever had the opportunity to give straightforward so I really hope someone's listening the best thing and I mean the very best thing that Market Basket can do is to make sure they do not lose that old-school demoulas feel the colors of the manager's jacket or the look of the plastic hair net or whatever on the deli guys and the overall service is always good I'd say for the most part I've always seen good management at any of the stores Haverhill class Townline Westgate is my old school favorite I grew up skateboarding there maybe that's why my opinion sways a little but I'm being honest none unless I would go somewhere else if somewhere else where the best but nobody beats Market Basket as far as I'm concerned you guys even Crush my toe where the shelf and I didn't even complain so have a good one and just stay you don't let the times change you don't fill it up with electronical bulshit keep it the way it is people...
