eaves Pleasanton — Local services in Pleasanton

Hi all,

I just share my experiences here that are we have been here for the past 7 years in our eaves Avalon Pleasanton community.. We took a break in middle of 2 years and came back from our native, that time also we personally prefer the same community. By the God's grace we got the same Apartment that we are stayed 7 years back. Now we are in the same house recollecting our lots of memories in USA. We simply prefer our community always.

About community:

It's easy accessibility to schools, hospitals, shopping and talking with our friends also. Kids enjoyed the upgraded play area very much. Now they feel very safe.

As a resident, we prefer our 3 friends also take apartment in our eaves avalon Pleasanton. We such LOVE our community..

Now our upgraded Avalon community we felt that we are in new place.

About events:

In our eaves Avalon Pleasanton, each and every event celebrated by our staffs for us. We also awaiting for the events and all. They also put lot of efforts i think so.

About staffs: (I'm sorry if I spell the names wrong)

Michelle:

She is always a wonderful excellent happy hearted person in my mind always. Wherever I saw her in our community, she always stands and talk to me how you all? I personally like the approach very much. Initially I felt scared about to talk but now I'm very much happy to talk with her personally. She is a super family sister of me.

Lia: She is such a sweet person anytime. We both are often meet each other regularly at school meetings before... We share our personal information also about kids at school. She also sits next to me and talk. If I can't recognize her at school, she simply wave hi to me and we start our conversations. I personally miss her more. We want her come back again.

Kayla: She is a good and nice approach person. I think she is new here. I had a conversation with her when we started to search apartments for our friends. She clearly explained about rent, carport, garages and maps also. Our friends also moved her because of her clear approach. At that time I think she is mirror of me. I shared all the information I given to our friends she also explained the same information clearly. At that time I think we both are mirrors.

Staffs: We got the marvelous staffs to work on with our eaves Avalon Pleasanton. I like the way of them to approach the kids. One time kids ball is stuck in tree, we tried to grab. That time staff will come and help with the ladder voluntarily. After that they all are kid friendly about their greeting.

Celebration: I attached the picture that we are all admired about the back to school night. Staffs all are surprised the kids more. Everytime I provide the apartment number for raffle tickets 🎟️ lot. But I can't get the prizes before. Now it's the first time, our house won the raffle prize 🏆 of backpack with school supplies. We Love that. We are waiting for future celebrations 😀.

If the rent is reasonable for us, we will stay here for a long time ❤️ 🙏.

While moving in was made a quick experience and they were able to get us into this apartment quicker than originally planned, it came at a cost and with one glaring reason.

We were given 1 day notice that we could not move into the apartment that we had placed the down payment for 3 months prior. Supposedly they found bedbugs in that apartment and decided to tell us the day before when we had already scheduled movers to arrive the next day. It turns out that, in our contract, it says that they are not responsible for expenses incurred if they have to keep someone from moving into an apartment even with such little notice.

“What expenses?” You might ask? Canceling movers, paying for short term rent somewhere else, storage of already packed stuff, extra rent at prior place because of belay in ability to move out just to name a few.

So, because of this they were able to get us into another apartment. A day early.

...it was filthy. Oil stains on the walls/ceiling, oil and dust attached to and covering all of the sprinklers, stains on the carpets all over the house, the smell of wet dog that permeated the apartment which was confirmed as dog when I started sneezing and waking up with swollen/red eyes and closed sinuses every morning until we had the bedroom floors deep cleaned. I don’t have allergies. Except to dogs. And this is something that should have been cleaned out of the carpet before ANY new tenant moved in.

The new apartment had a different courtyard from the original too. Went from a beautiful grassy view on the 3rd floor, to a barren wasteland of dead grass and neglect from our 2nd floor view.

It’s been super great occasionally rolling around with my son on the ground throughout the house and finding all the new spots of dog fur and dander that weren’t cleaned out of the house with my face. Never been...

I stayed in Eaves for one 1 full year in 2018. From my perspective, I would give this community, 1 star. For others it could be different. Please note it is my personal perspective based on my experience. Use your own perspective in choosing the apartment.

Positives: Cheap rent (however the rent per sq. foot is higher than other apartments in the area) Closer to facilities (this applies to all apartments near by) Good school district. Gym in the apartment campus

Negatives: Extremely old apartments. Electric stove (I prefer gas stove, which is available in Park Hacienda, next to Eaves) Very small kitchen. Higher rent per sq. foot (the 1 BR rent for 600+ sq foot is around 2000, in other places, for about 800 sq foot, you get for 2300). Carpets in bad condition (I told about the carpet, the day I moved in and got professional cleaners (using my pocket)). The day after I moved in, they replaced the carpet and charged me more than 400 dollars towards carpet cleaning. The mistake from my side is I didn't write it down in paper, I just had informed leasing lady Michelle about the carpet, I hope she remembers it. Anyways, I am charged more than 400 dollars towards carpet cleaning unfairly. There are many guys living in the apartment next to us in one apartment, some times it gets noisy with the constant opening and closing of doors from the next door neighbors. The AC was constantly breaking in our apartment, as the apartments are old, and we had to buy our own spare cooler / heater as the apartment AC was not working properly. There is not much balcony space. The balcony that is present is not of much use. Almost...
