I spend my hard earned money in here at Raleyâs in Pleasanton CA, just to be treated rudely and itâs unacceptable. the cashier, a heavy set Caucasian woman with eye glasses and blonidish hair, carried on her conversation with the shopper after she bagged his groceries and checked him out. I waited and waited and after sometime he left and, I walked up and she didnât say hello, you could feel that she didnât really want to help me, just a stone cold face. I was getting ready to pay when a tall Caucasian guy walked up and was very sarcastic about a bag being needed, that I actually didnât end up needing. as I was waiting for him to finish bagging my groceries, my son walked up to take the groceries and seen we had enough room after all. Whatâs really sad is that the night manager or supervisor who had shoulder length brown hair just watched this from the small customer counter. Is this a family run store where they could care less how bad they treat customers? Is this type of behavior okay with the store owners? Not sure why she couldnât say hello but could talk to that guy like she was just so happy. My money spends the same as anyone elseâs. This has happened twice before, and now again? I have to finally say something about it. Employees like her and the sacked shouldnât work with the public. I hope the store manager runs the video to look back at this event. it occurred tonight, 12-1, around sevenish, I have dark brown hair and had on black leggings and a black jacket and my son wore a beanie, eye glasses, black shirt and blue jeans, he walked up toward the end of my transaction. Even though I was dressed down tonight, it goes to show that the cashier and the sacker make assumptions based on how a person is dressed. I hope CEO of Raleyâs, Keith Knopf is able to view my post, and address it with...
Read moreWorst service ever in the history of my life! I wish I could give ZERO stars. The women at the deli are very rude. My husband and I walked in to have a tritip sandwich today. My husband grabbed a tritip container and asked the woman there to make our sandwiches from the tritip in the container (mind you we were going to purchase the whole container). The woman became upset and said next time "she couldn't do that" because they already have tritip that is sliced there for sanwiches. Then when we selected the bread she slammed the container where the bread is stored very hard as if she was annoyed. As she was slicing the bread she was so irate she cut her finger and had to call another lady out to finish our sandwich. Another gentlemen walked in to order a sandwich and wanted tritip too. They didn't even have sliced tritip to make his sandwich so the other lady making his sandwich grabbed some of the tritip from our container to make his sandwich which makes no sense at all because they said they couldn't do that in the first place! Then the lady who helped us began helping someone else so we sat down and ate our food and decided we would pay when we were done eating since we only get a 30 minute lunch. When we were ready to pay the lady who cut her finger was at the counter and told my husband very rudely we needed to pay before eating our food. But how could we do that if the lady started helping someone else? What did she think we were going to leave without paying? How ridiculous. If she thinks she's too old to be working at a store making sandwiches maybe she should retire or stay home! The sandwich we ate was very good but the service...
Read moreStore is pretty stocked the service is lacking. I popped in Friday afternoon to get some ice cream and maybe a snack with my mother and what went from a quick experience became a major hassle. I bought two ice creams 2 for 6 and lentil pea snack for 1.50 that were on sale. Oh surprise they both came up as normal price even though the display said otherwise. Bring it up to the cashier and man she was just unfriendly theoughout and clearly didnt want to be there. I worked retail before too and Im used to complaints but it was infact legitimate even after the price check and likely someone forgot to update the sale. Didnt want a hassle so we went back got a different flavor (even though they were all the same) and now its the displayed price. This time we went to self checkout the snack was still the wrong price but whatever 50 cents and we just wanted out. Oh some unexplained item in the bagging area screwed up the transaction and when we tried to ask for help the self checkout assistant was off chatting and wouldnt help and told my mother to calm down even though none of it was our faultm After a while I fixed it myself by literally moving the items like 2 inches and we left. I guess the trend of massive retail and service industry employees quitting has really lowered the quality. I think I'll go a different Raileys or Safeway...
