Dollar General — Local services in Plumstead Township

If I can leave no stars I absolutely would. I came into the store to buy a few things. I am learning how to coupon. And the "assistant manager" heavy lady with glasses was so rude and very impatient. She did not want to help in anyway. There were many coupons that were not coming up on her system but I had them in my phone from the DG app for example buy $15 worth of Scott Products get $3 off and I made sure these products were apart of the deal. That also was not showing up. Huff and puffing and an unpleasant facial expression. I was not rude, I did not raise my voice. I told her she did not have to be rude or impatient. This was also the same case with my 1st transaction. I decided to not proceed with my transaction as I did not appreciate that animosity coming from her. I will not visit here again DO BETTER 👌 TREAT OTHERS HOW YOU'D LIKE TO BE TREATED.

The better DG is located on rt 313 in Dublin. This store off rt 611 is cluttered, not very well organized. Very little room for store carts between the isles & had a hard time finding what I was looking for. The floor was dirty in spots & merchandise was strewn around. The Associate who waited on me was very nice, however the other Associate was too busy on her phone to acknowledge me. I spent $96 here only bc I was in the area (hospital). I won't be back. I love Dollar Generals they remind me of mom and pop stores. But a key difference is most of the employees are overworked, underpaid and expected to be everywhere (stocking shelves, waiting on customers and cleaning). The register counter has a bell your supposed to ring when your ready, this is not a good scenario if you want the stores to succeed by keeping moral up, employee turnover and theft low.
