I went in to possibly get my Miele vacuum covered under warranty since it should be covered . I was told it is not covered the motor was going bad and assuming it could be water damage or not changing the bags or the filter so methinking to myself which one is it . I asked the gentleman how much would a motor cost he said I might as well buy a whole new vacuum I was very disappointed but knew I really wanted another vacuum . The following day I went back to buy another one he offered me a discount which I did not ask for but who would not want a discount . I went home with my 1300 dollar purchase unopened box but box was damaged when I received it . My husband didn’t agree with the purchase said they should have covered my vacuum under warranty A few days later I took it back trying to return it with my cousin waiting with my kids in the vehicle he would not return it unopened the owner he said it is not fair I’m screwing them over was very unpleasant to be around said he didn’t have enough money to give it back how is that possible if most was on card the only way he would give me it back is if I purchased another vacuum so he will give me the difference which was 400 dollars he picked it out I got home and it was used the owner told bob the other worker that he should have not even given me another vacuum so I’m assuming he knew it was used and was that upset I was trying to return the account .I called the Livonia location said the owner said he would get my other vacuum covered I received a call saying that they don’t know why I was ever told the motor was going bad all it needed was a tune up this made me even more upset this is complete black mail 😡 my vacuum got the tuneup extra 85 out of my pocket still has the same problem nothing changed . Bank's Vacuum is absolutely the place to be if you are in need of any kind of floor care products or maintenance on your vacuum. I went into their store in Plymouth and holy moly...I would never have known how many vacuums are out there. Too many to even attempting to list. I had 2 problems, my cordless Dyson was not working nor was my central vacuum system. Ken explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. I love my cordless Miele stick vacuum so much better than my old Dyson. The central vacuum guys were just as nice and informative on what my vacuum problem was as it is over 20 years old. Sam and Jon explained the pros and cons to fixing my old unit versus buying a new one. I chose to purchase a new power unit as well as 2 new kits to use on each floor. No more dragging around my hose. I am so happy they mentioned a 2nd kit when I complained of lugging the 35 foot hose up and down the stairs. I cant believe that I never thought to get a 2nd kit. Thank you Ken at Plymouth store and many thanks to Sam and Jon for getting my in house vacuum working again. I LOVE IT!!! I went to the store on a Saturday after researching vacuums online. Salesperson was friendly, asked about my vacuuming needs and steered me towards a Simplicity vacuum that was just what I had been looking for. He did a demonstration and let me try it out. He told me about the sale they were running and the online coupons. I said I would think about it and left. Came back on Monday and talked to a couple other employees. Both were friendly and did a different demonstration (this one a comparison test). Then I bought the vacuum at $180 off MSRP, got a 6 pack of bags, extended warranty and annual checkup for the next 5 years at no extra charge.

Overall the experience was very good. The staff is friendly, know a lot about vacuums, were happy to answer questions and there was no pressure to buy. The only downside was that I thought they would have more vacuums available. They mainly carry a wide variety of Miele and Simplicity vacuums along with a few models of some other brands.
