We went in looking for a silver plated creamer to match the silver plated sugar bowl we just picked up from Rusty Rooster for $25. The woman seemed to have an attitude from the get go but when she priced the piece at $85 we said no thank you..she went down to $60..it’s silver plated..not sterling..we simply said no thank you while still looking at rings with another VERY NICE lady with glasses..when we didn’t accept the woman’s overpriced offer she told us we should head down to the junk shop, that that may be more in our budget. We would NEVER go back and risk having to deal with such a classless sales person again. It’s a shame because the lady that greeted us was very nice and the lady with the glasses that was attempting to help us was also very nice. The troll they drug out of the back room should have been left there..she should never be allowed to interact with customers. Insulting people simply because they don’t like your price?? Completely unacceptable. It says everything in this place is on camera so it should be easy to see we’re not embellishing on our experience. I was trying to look at rings with the one lady while I listened to this woman insult my husband. With all the jewelry they had we would have easily been repeat customers as I love antique pieces but to suggest we had no money simply because we had a price we wanted to stay within for one particular piece was flat out despicable.

To add context we added pictures of the piece we purchased yesterday(the sugar bowl) and the piece that after being belittled and embarrassed in this snotty store we found on eBay. They are in fact not “junk” and simply what we were looking for. My husband is an army vet and a career firefighter and I hate how still bothered I am by the way this woman spoke to him. I wish I had said more, she doesn’t deserve to work in an establishment this classy. The other ladies do, this one was a poor choice. I’m still upset that I realized too late that they had diamond jewelry as my engagement ring has become too big with recent weight loss and cannot be sized down anymore. I loved a ring I saw there along with a wedding band but because this woman was so busy being defensive and insulting over a creamer I won’t even consider purchasing anything of real value there. I didn’t even get to try them on. It’s sad she was so focused on being disrespectful regarding a piece that was just for display so we didn’t want to spend a lot on it..that she cost this store a real purchase and...

This shop is AMAZING!!! I travel ext and have never seen so many quality vintage and antique things in one location anywhere. The store is organized very well. My friend and I spent a few hours at this shop and will definitely be back. Anyone who lives in the Hampton Roads Area and love vintage and antique jewelry, furniture, porcelain, art work this is THE PLACE. Nothing like this exists anywhere on the I64 or I95 corridor. The store is a quick 1 hour and 38 minutes across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The manager Lorie is fabulous as is her daughter. Such a wonderful experience. They even told us where to see the wild horses (thank you ladies you were spot on we got a ton of photos and videos based on your suggestion) which is why we did not stay longer. My best friend and I both agreed that it was the BEST trip we had in years. We will be back!! Lorie thank you for the card with extra copies of all of my paperwork. I will be back to this wonderful store with more friends in tow. We absolutely cannot stop talking about this place and the people who run it. I rarely do reviews but this place is absolutely at the top of my list. If you want to pick up a piece that is one of a kind this is the place to go. Prices are fantastic. This is the only place I will be buying jewelry from it is THAT GOOD!! Thank you, thank...

Lorrie was extremely rude. Owners need to know, she was short and mean to me the entire time. She raised the price on a ring I wanted from 189, to 388. And also tried charging 389$$ for 40 pennyweight of silver. I'm a wealthy young business owner. Was willing to spend 4000.00 cash today. Ill never be back.

The woman that waited on my mother was as nice as she could be.

Rudeness I experienced but didn't mention, Lorri literally said "the OWNER has deeper pockets than you could ever hope to" for a place with such classy items, the lack of class and customer service I experienced was despicable.

ADDRESS?! You took down my address before you doubled the price of the ring I was about to buy my mother for her birthday.

I was so focused on the price fluctuations in less thsn 10 minutes I forgot to see the red flags?! Why do you need MY address. It's creepy. Don't come here, and DELETE MY INFORMATION VAULT!
