I brought in my boyfriend’s ring to be resized and to get a quote on a replacement stone since the old one broke and fell out. The woman told us the jeweler wasn’t in, but he would call tomorrow with a quote. Didn’t get a call for 3 days. We call back. Same woman couldn’t even find the ring. Says the jeweler isn’t in. Will call us tomorrow. Of course, no call. Tried once more to call, same crap. We finally got fed up and went in person to just get the ring back since this place was obviously unreliable. Imagine my surprise when I see what they did to it. Guess it was resized, but all the detail in the piece was gone. Obviously never got a quote for a new stone. This ring is incredibly sentimental and important and it’s just ruined. The lady giving us the ring back was confused reading the notes, said it might not be done yet. So absurd. Sorry we didn’t bring in a super expensive piece, however it was a couple hundred and solid silver. Just got back from this jeweler and have to leave this review to warn others of the attitude you get if you complain to the jeweler about his work. I dropped off a chain to be repaired. The chain had a very antique color to it as did the cross that was on the this chain. When dropping it off the girls that took the jewelry in stated I should leave the cross so that Jimmy would know not to clean and polish it as the color will drastically change. So, I did that. When I came to pick up my items the chain was a completely different color than the cross. I questioned it and was told by this jeweler "Not sure why its a different color. I didn't do anything to it" with a real attitude to me! He said he doesn't know what to tell me. I told him I left it here and both pieces were the same color and now they are not!!! They still made me pay for the item even though I can't use the chain with the cross so it does me no good. I will NEVER come here again AND WILL STOP ANYONE I KNOW of going to...

I brought a ring to Lee's to do a repair. I waited 3 weeks before I called to see if my ring was ready. I got a call a week later from the owner saying he gave my ring to another jeweler who just got covid.. Than he said he brought my ring to another jeweler to check my emeralds and that jeweler said my emeralds were fakes.. I was totally shocked at what he said so, when the ring was finally ready I brought the ring to a gemologist who checked the stones and noticed two stones were cracked and the emeralds were indeed genuine.. I called Lee's immediately asking why was my ring checked by other jewelers and the two stones being cracked.. He was so nasty to me!! In my opinion when he brought my ring to the jeweler to check the emeralds they cracked the two stones.. He thought by telling me they were fake I would just leave it as it..
