NEVER experienced such RUDE customer service. I live 5 minutes away and needed to run in VERY QUICKLY for a towel. The store hours are open until 9:30 PM MONDAY-SATURDAY. It’s Friday. I’m writing this review and it’s 9:18 PM. I tried to open the doors, locked. I stood there confused, tried to call the store, there’s customers inside and no one is answering. 2 customers walked out and I asked the 2 employees (one older white lady and younger dark girl, didn’t get their names) I asked if they were open until 9 pm or 9:30. The dark one walked away from me and the old woman said “you can come in” but in a rude tone. I said, “okay, because the store hours say until 9:30. There’s a sign outside.” The old woman MOCKED ME to her coworker, to which I responded “it sure does.” And she mocked me AGAIN and said “it sure does” in a condescending tone. The dark skin girl told me to hurry up and get what I needed and to go. I said, “I work in customer service. Your hours say until 9:30.” She STATED “STORE POLICY is to close 50 minutes prior.” In what world do you close a store 50 minutes before the actual closing time? I proceeded to go back and forth with the dark skin girl as I felt they were being so nasty and rude. She said it’s just the 2 of them there and to understand. I’ve worked 12 hour days by myself, and I’ve ran 3 businesses for an absentee owner. I KNOW ALL ABOUT short staff, wanting to close early on a Friday night, and overall how to deal with customers. They were rude the moment I walked in. I asked a question, got ignored, and then mocked and ridiculed for going into the store 15 minutes before it closes to purchase ONE TOWEL. I’d like to speak with corporate about this matter. The dark skin one also told me “I don’t gotta do all that, and I’m not trying to get hostile with anyone” but they were hostile from the moment I even asked a question. A simple explanation would have sufficed. The situation was handled terribly. Please get corporate on the phone with me I will be calling this location every day until this is resolved. Read morehorrible experience last night. reading the reviews I see others have experienced this too. went in for a couple of candies that they always have. 2 different size bags all marked $2.50. I got one of each and a bottle of water. This kid tells me to use one of the check outs it didn't work so went to the next. One candy rang up $2.50 the other $4. I ask the kid about it but he didnt understand. So I asked for the manager. He said here she comes. A disheveled angry lady. I tell her. She walks back and comes up w an empty box and says there isn't any more that size. I said theres a bunch of them. Now she's really mad because she thought she could trick me w an empty box which was not there a moment ago. So she says show me I walked after her and low and behold there's a bunch of that size next to the small ones. She doesn't say a word goes to the register and changes the price and walks away i say thank u after shes already walking away and she says you need to watch your mouth! I say tell me what I said. She would not answer. Ask the kid and another worker what the managers name was and they said they didn't know. Sorry but they both looked scared. I was in the electronics area and there was a product with its box open that is a mini handheld vacuum cleaner, it was half vacuumed out of its box, I took it and pressed the button to see how much it sucks. Then I left it in exactly the same place and in the same way that I found it. A guy was riding on a ladder arranging some items, he is blonde, thin, I think he is the manager, he started yelling at me saying: Ma'm, ma'm, please bring me that product. I didn't understand why he was yelling at me, maybe he thought I had opened it and left it there. I said: Excuse me, why? I did not open the product, the box was open, I just took it and left it exactly as I found it. He kept yelling at me like it was my fault. I told him: I'm sorry, if you want the product come and grab it for yourself. I did not open this box and I am a CUSTOMER. You shouldn't yell at a customer. At that moment another employee came, took the product and took it to him. She was embarrassed and he was still upset. Later I saw him scolding the other employees.
