Pompano Citi Centre — Local services in Pompano Beach

Some businesses which truly deliver..... do well here. But the mall itself truly does nothing to attract the local crowd. Located in a thriving neighborhood with Waterfront luxury homes nearby....Pompano Cities Centre fails to deliver. A concrete block environment with escalators occasionally working. (occasionally not)....it reminds me of a business whose motto is let's invest the minimum and see what happens. Amazing real-estate..right on Federal Highway without much to offer. Empty with a slighty unsafe feeling after sunset in an outdoor atmosphere. No warmth. This place can be like Miami's Sunset Place...or even Bal Harbor Shops.....but requires much more care and much more investment. Come on owners... Step it up!!!! A few businesses.....like a Lebanese restaurant and some eateries seem to do well.....but cold-white lighting.....no visible security... long walk from parking to retail....and lack of investment creates a cold parking lot feel throughout. There's a Subways shop on ground floor. Best Subways I've ever eaten! I've been across country, and this little Shop is fantastic! The owner works there. He takes pride in his store, makes perfect sandwiches, and makes you feel like your eating at a friend's house. FRESH bread and ingredients. Generous portions. Very clean and sanitized for Covid. Definitely RECOMMEND!!! You'll be glad you chose there. Upstairs is a business for driver point reduction, taxes, tags, and I think insurance (across from DMV). Also on the 2nd floor is the DMV. Appointment only for entry; request appointment online or call in advance. Polite, multilingual staff (English, Spanish, some other Caribbean languages). Wheelchair accessible - past the stairs is an elevator to 2nd floor. Very busy, but reasonably fast to get done and out. They do physical distancing and hand sanitizer. Pompano Citi Centre is one of the best places in Pompano Beach. It is conveniently located minutes from everywhere. The best thing however, are the tenants in this outdoor mall. They have the best Lowes in Broward County in this mall. They have Panera Bread in this mall. They have Macys in this mall. I do hope that this Macy's stays off the chopping block. They have a wonderful Big Lots in this mall. They have a great Wendy's in the outer perimeter of this mall. They have an ABC Wine and Spirits in the outer perimeter. This is one of the best ABC Wine and Spirits in Broward County. There is also Chili's and JMarks restaurant in the outer perimeter. I would be remiss, if I did not mention Pier 1 imports, which I absolutely love, love, love this store.. There is also Sears in this mall and a JC Penney's.
