La Paella Chef — Local services in Pompano Beach

This past Saturday, October 9th, 2021, Chef Dana and her wonderful La Paella Chef Team were my accomplices in creating a Surprise 60th Birthday Celebration for my husband Jorge with 30 guests. Chef Dana and her team arrived punctual and served delicious tapas for our guests, we had a Charcuterie board, Cherry tomato & mozarrella skewers, House salad (organic lettuce, cherry tomato, avocado, Mediterranean olives, house vinaigrette) Baguette Bread with delicious Paellas -- Campestre and Langosta (my husband's favorite). Everyone enjoyed greatly and it was amazing. Dinner was served as requested at 7pm. Chef Dana took care of serving each of our guests and leftovers were packaged in aluminum foil containers ready to be refrigerated. Chef Dana thought of every single detail to ensure we could enjoy a wonderful evening together in family, even our concern regarding possible rain, they came prepared with a 10X10 Tent. As usual it was a great pleasure to work with you Dana, as we had your wonderful Paellas for our wedding reception 5 years ago in April 2016 and I'm sure it won't be the last 😊. La Paella Chef is simply an amazing caterer. Chef Dana and her team provided a divine meal for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. Their appetizers were lovely, from charcuterie boards to croquettes to the best ceviche we have ever had (fresh and delicious — exquisite). Their paellas were amazing. They provided a chicken and seafood option as well as vegetables and salad. The aroma of the paella cooking on the open grills was mouth-watering and the meal even better. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully and served piping hot with ample portions. (We had numerous guests who said the meal was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding!) Beyond the meal, Chef Dana was wonderful to work with. She was helpful, professional and responsive. Our banquet lead Jessi and her team were lovely. We could not have asked for a more delightful and delectable meal, not for a more pleasant, helpful and professional staff. They made the day special and memorable for our daughter, son-in-law and guests. We were preparing to throw a surprise 70th birthday party and were we looking for a catering services and stumbled upon La Paella Chef. I filled out a form their website, and received a phone call the same day. Chef Dana walked us through their process, gave us pricing over the phone and also explained everything fully in detail. She also emailed me a copy of a quote for what to expect on the day of. We changed a few things around a few days later after the initial quote and she immediately sent us a revised quote with all the details we needed. The initial process was so easy. On the day of the event, we had a slight issue with the timing of the birthday guest so I called her and asked is she would kind coming a few minutes later then initially planned, she had no problem doing so. They showed up, set everything up, and made the most delicious Paella. The food was phenomenal, the service was spectacular. We also got the Churro bar added last minute and the Churros were fresh and delicious. All in all, everything was so good, the paella was a real hit.
