
I must say, from the moment I walked in, myself and my family were greeted with the MOST genuine, warm welcome I’ve ever experienced in a furniture store by J.T.
He assisted us right away and showed us EXACTLY what we needed to see!
J.T. clearly has a gift for connecting with people beyond just helping with furniture. J.T. listens extremely well with his eyes and ears and that is why he was able to help us find EXACTLY what we needed efficiently and fast!
It wasn’t a sale..it was a conversion.. J.T. is not a salesperson. He is a HUMAN. Not one time did we feel pressured or like he didn’t want to help us. He was interested, fully invested and patient every step of the way. He made us feel like family from beginning to end without any corny nuances or even a sales pitch. That was amazing!!
And if that wasn’t enough, we were then helped by Victor who helped us to get the best options when it came to a bed for our child. Victor is so knowledgeable about the inventory and concise with the stock that before we could even ask him if an item was in stock, he’d already checked. Victor only wanted to get us what was right for us and our family-nothing less.
Victor displayed an immaculate exchange with his colleagues and spoke extremely highly of them. Victor knows what he’s doing! Between Victor and J.T, we have found our favorite RTG STORE and furniture store.
Not to mention, the RTG credit option is amazing and helped to make our lives so much easier. I would recommend this store to any and everyone I can because I had the best experience. I’m happy with the furniture we ordered. I’m happy with the customer service and relationships we made with J.T and Victor and the RTG family. Victor and JT need a raise for their outstanding performance. Please take this into consideration.

Read moreI’ve generally had a great experience with the furniture from Rooms To Go, but unfortunately, a recent incident has completely soured my opinion of this store. After spending over $6,000 on furniture for our new home, my wife and I decided to purchase a bedroom set. We bought the set from the main showroom and the mattress and box spring from the outlet. Before finalizing our purchase, we specifically asked the representative at the outlet if the high-profile box spring would be an appropriate fit for the bedroom set we were about to buy. The representative assured us it would fit perfectly, so we trusted their expertise and purchased everything the same day.
Since the items had to be delivered at different times, the box spring and mattress arrived in October, while the bedroom set was delivered this week. Once everything was assembled, it became immediately clear that the box spring was far too big for the bed frame.
We returned to the store to explain the situation, but the response was incredibly disappointing. Despite the clear miscommunication from their representative, we were told that the box spring could not be returned because all bed product sales are final. Even the manager was unwilling to offer any resolution or discount toward a replacement box spring.
While I understand and respect the store’s policy regarding bed product sales, what is truly upsetting is that the incorrect recommendation came from their own representative, and we relied on their guidance when making our purchase. After spending such a significant amount of money with this company, this experience has left us feeling frustrated and disheartened.

Read moreFull disclosure, my wife and I are long time customers of Rooms to Go. We’ve purchased and been responsible for bringing business to this location for many years. However, we still do our homework to make sure we receive value for our dollar.
We found ourselves in the market for a new mattress and you can look pricing up on line, purchasing a new mattress, it still needs to pass the “comfort” text.
We had not been in the market for a new mattress for quite some time, so when we arrived at the Pompano location, bypassing a geographically closer location, we did so with the hope of connecting with the sales associate that had helped us so many times before. We were disappointed to hear that he had retired, but not surprised.
Fortunately, we connected with Zane. He was perfect for our shopping style. He listened to us and took us from location to location within the store as we tried each mattress. Having already researched price points, I knew our target budget. Zane explained options regarding financing. He didn’t try to sell us more than what we needed and in the end we decided to purchase a new mattress, plus cover plus pillows AND found ourselves a new “go to” sales associate.
He explained the delivery process, the return policy and warranty terms.
I’m not an easy customer to sell. I need to feel valued. I felt like Zane understood that we could take his time and then walk out the door and complete the purchase on line. But that’s not fair to him and we made that clear. I can’t speak for the other sales associates, but if you are looking for a sales person with patience, knowledge and a sense of humor, Zane’s your guy.
