Checkers — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

On August 20 I went to get something to eat at this checkers location. I wanted to order their four dollar unbeatable deal and upsize it to a large when I got to the register the cashier handed me a medium size drink telling me that her manager directed her to give me that size of beverage When I ordered a large offset I didn’t wanna argue I got my food and drove away when I went to reaching for some fries I realized that it was a small and not a large, so I went back to get a full refund after the ordeal when I went the cashier took my receipt and threw it in the trash and handing me back by cash. I went to the car to call corporate office and realize that I needed that receipt so I went back and asked for it, and she gave me attitude because she couldn’t find the order and she had to dig into the trash where she threw my receipt. I contacted the corporate office spoke with the Jeremy who issued me a coupon but sent it to the wrong email I called the next day spoke to a Marco, who was able to give me the coupon, but when I took it to a location that wasn’t the one that I originally went to, they weren’t able to process the coupon which Was a five dollar credit. I spoke to Daniel and explained my situation to where he then offered me a $10 credit for my frustration. I had yet to receive it and followed up. I spoke to a Kendry Who is unable to see any notes of anyone that I had spoken to prior he transferred me over to Jeremy who I had the original call with on August 20 where Jeremy who held the title as supervisor stated that no one can issue a $10 credit and proceeded to offer me a five dollar credit that I had to access through downloading the checkers app. This situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth for a franchise that I used to frequent at a lot since my childhood because of this ordeal I will never return back because no one is being held accountable from the original store to the corporate office No one should have to go through this just to...

At 3.5 stars I definitely know these reviews are fake. The first bad experience this checkers was literally under two stars. They must really be trying hard to get fake reviews or using their employees like the experience that I had tonight. This night I ordered my food with no issues obviously the girl taking the order was new so I understood the patient however making me wait 30 minutes just to tell me to go on the other side and Wrong is unacceptable not to mention the manager did not want to face confrontation or provide customer service. She simply just kept sending the cashier to provide us information that was not clear and concise being that she was new and really didn’t know what she was doing After the frustration I requested a refund and was told I could not get a physical receipt and was shown the cashiers phone as proof I had to wait over 15 minutes just for the manager to tell me the same thing overall, this checkers needs to be shut down the management, the servers and the food quality is just unacceptable Needless to say, this is the only checkers close to me so if I was dying, and I mean dying because there is McDonald’s right by that’s the only reason why I would go because of the late hours and the cheap food. The worst experience ever. I just sat in the passenger line for 15 mins because I was supposed to understand what the employee on the microphone said 15 mins prior "go to the other lane" . She was able to "remind'' me what she said after waiting 15 mins. Then she ignored me completely. You have Miami subs and McDonald's right next to you, and that's why business is better. I called to get the manager on duties name, and was put on hold (while listening to all the orders) for over 6 mins, and finally hung up. You will never receive business from me again and the next 10 people I tell about this experience. I call back to speak to the manager again, and after I asked for the corporate office number he deliberately hung up on me.
