Staples — Local services in Ponderay

I would give it zero stars if I could- very rude staff members and to my surprise the supervisors were the most horrible! He yelled at me for sitting on the ground in a very light foot traffic area, while I was trying to see some clearance products that were haphazardly strewn about the bottom shelf, so there was no other way to go about it. So I sat down Indian style, out of the way, and the supervisor guy ( named Jeff ) literally yelled at me and said to get off the floor because it was a safety issue and they don’t want me to get hurt and sue their insurance company!!! Haha haha! I literally laughed out loud and asked if he was kidding and he didn’t say anything just had a dirty look on his face. This was all AFTER they followed me and my 69 year old mother ALL over the store from beginning until end... obviously thinking we were shoplifters!!! I was so appalled. And it wasn’t just Jeff it was another younger guy with him who he was training or some thing. They both were right next to us the whole time. 3 feet tops. And that’s WITH the social distancing rule active for the corona virus. They couldn’t even give us 6 feet of space. The whole time staring Into our souls. Like literally. Staring. At. My. Face. The. Whole. Time. It was so creepy and messed up how they stereotyped us. I’ll never shop there again!!!& I use to spend a lot of money there! My mother as well! Some of the workers there were really nice, besides ONE. I don’t know his name but when me an my fiancée along with our younger friend were walking around looking for drawing supplies, we noticed this older man kept fallowing us around the store. We walked around some more cuz we thought that he was just checking supplies but instead of trying to help other customers, he decided to fallow us around an kept entering our personal space. We confronted him an he was saying how he was just trying to “hang out” an think it’s weird a group of kids were “hanging out” for so long an that we were acting suspicious because our buddy had his hood on even tho he just came from outside witch it’s raining outside. We asked him nicely to not fallow us around an he told us he was only fallowing us to see if we needed anything an I told him if I needed his help then I would have asked for help an he refused to leave us alone or back off so we ended up just leaving. If your wanting customers an people coming in to buy things, don’t just assume that a couple of people are trying to steal because we have money an we were gonna buy some things but not anymore. That is why i gave a low rating an if I could I would have given it a -5 star rating, I’m never going to shop their again,...

Was working at a local business (I am from Boise ID) and I needed 1 page printed. Since staples was real close I went there to have them print for me. First they refused to do it unless I tried doing it myself which my card would not work in the copy machines. And I went back and asked the gal behind counter (had to interrupt 2 of them talking about the what they did the previous weekend) and asked her to please print me my one page. She said we are busy (not another customer in site anywhere) and will take 4-6 hours until they are able to print it for me. I have always used staples to do my printing for me and I have never been rejected like that. It would have take her 10 seconds to print it. So I said thank you and left.

I probably have staples print 300-500 pages a month for me but after this I will never go back to a staples store again, and as I was leaving they went back to talking about there fun weekend they had. Unbelievable.

Just lost a very good customer both for my personal and my work. I am passing the word for no one to use staples anymore, I don’t care if they have to drive extra hour to find someplace else to have printer I will pay there labor and the gas to avoid stapes. All this because she was too busy to print just 1 8.5x11 page for me....
