Horrible. Customer service reps diann and other in the pontiac office were clueless & unhelpful. Could not answer our questions, couldn't tell me for sure when the autopay i signed up for would be withdrawn. Said that the cost for service that i screenshotted when we signed up online (advertised lock for 1 year) is no longer relevant. We went into the office to ask for an explanation of charges on the first bill bc it was so high, They told us it was because it included the installation fee. It was only $10 more than our second bill. There was an extra $15 charge to the bill for modem rental (which we couldnt see until looking at the receipt after paying) when the plan explicitly said it was included in the rate when we signed up. They said "im sure it was in the fine print." Advertised $60/mo for 1 gig including the modem. Now our bill is $85 (70 for service + 15 modem) and they "have no way of looking up what the promotion was last month." But they explained that if we signed up after march 6, then our service would be $65/mo including the modem. They said we could not switch to the new promotional offer. If we cancelled and re-signed up there would be a 90 day wait period. Paying over $100 for their ā1gbā option gets you nothing but horrible quality videos/streaming, or lag in any game you try to play, being the ONLY thing connected to the internet. Having upgraded to this option from the 300mb, I very rarely even get 300 as a download speed on a great day, and I donāt think Iāve one gotten the advertised download/upload speed. Iād say for $110 a month you get about an actual 220 mb/s download and 55 mb/s upload on average. On top of their horrible WiFi service, they seem to not have the best communication or understanding of their system as well. Seeing as it took a week of calling and getting hung up on, until I spoke to the āhead of customer serviceā just to get my service transferred to another address because they had messed stuff up on the install.
