Lily altered a dress I bought from another bridal shop that charged an arm and a leg. She not only is REASONABLE but a MASTER in her craft!!! I had a difficult dress to alter and she was all smiles and said it was no problem. She also altered my daughter in laws wedding dress that she bought elsewhere and again charged a small fortune. Lily is PROFESSIONAL and has a fast turn around time as well. Her pleasant demeanor and expertise is amazing! Most recently as she is preparing for a new location opening, I needed a tuxedo asap for my husband. I reached out to Lily through Facebook and she not only promptly replied, but she was MORE than accommodating by offering to come to our home with her catalogs and measure my husband. She is very knowledgeable about the trends and styles and what works best for each body type. It was EFFORTLESS AND PAINLESS! Something my husband appreciated! She got the tuxedo in from her company, ordered two jackets because my husband was on the cusp although she knew the one she really wanted for him would fit. Being that we were close to the event date she didn’t want us to be without and have to wait for another coat. She steamed the tuxedo ahead of time and even put on the shirt jewelry for us. Lily came highly recommended by a friend of mine who had a very positive experience. Lily did the alterations on my friend’s wedding dress and did a great job, so I made an appointment to check out her hand-made, original, one-of-a-kind dresses. When we first met, her collection wow-ed me! I was immediately drawn to a beautiful, original gown and after 3 hours of trying on gorgeous dresses, I ended up choosing the very first one! It was meant to be! Lily spent months modifying the original gown, combining the modifications that I wanted with her vision & expertise. With each dress fitting, I was falling more and more in love with the dress. She truly listened to what I wanted, was honest and straight forward with her recommendations, was professional yet friendly and made me feel like a princess!! My wedding gown is more spectacular and stunning than I ever could have imagined. I love Lily’s gowns so much that she is also modifying her “Marianella” for me, so I can wear it to my rehearsal dinner. Some heroes wear capes, but some wear lipstick and design bridal gowns. Weddings are always stressful, but when the bride hates her gown, and doesn’t even want to walk down the aisle, THAT is a whole other level. This was our story after purchasing a gown from another bridal salon, but having it altered at another shop. They almost ruined the gown beyond repair. The bride liked her gown when she purchased it, but didn’t love it due to it having a different neckline. After going to Lily to try and repair the alterations, she learned the bride’s feelings about her gown and did not rest until she delivered the gown of her dreams. She basically completely redesigned/recreated the bodice of the gown after listening to the bride. She blended it in with the rest of the gown creating a truly one of a kind gown that you would never know it wasn’t originally designed that way.
