I was so disappointed at my last meal at a cracker barrel... I came in alone and after being sat at 515pm in a not crowded restaurant on a Tuesday, I waited for over 10mins for my waitress to arrive.. I ordered and waited expectantly for my drink & biscuits/cornbread to snack on .. my tea wasn't brought out nor the biscuits/ muffins I requested, (they usually will bring your drink and biscuits/cornbread before your main entree, which is nice to nibble on while waiting).. but instead it all arrived including my tea over 20 minutes after sitting there..( how hard would it had been to at least dropped off my drink before the meal?),.. I ordered the vegetable plate.. double portion of dumplings ( no chicken) with steamed broccoli ( which was good) and corn.. there was so much gravy that I actually took out the pastry on my plate good thing I made the dumplings double item of the 4 choices or it would had ended up being 2 bites worth"" in general.. very small servings.. I could rattle on about how disappointed I was but doesn't seem to matter.. sometimes it's good more often it's not.. and as for my server shame on you.. your service was more than lacking in a empty dining area, and smiling or acting friendly goes a long way in making a bad meal more enjoyable..and though her service was bad, instead of getting angry I still left a good tip ( bill total was under $15 bucks and I left a $7tip) .. I browsed & shopped afterwards the store area...and my reason for giving 3 stars instead of 1 is the employee working the register"" ( he deserved 10 stars I wish I remembered his name) this young man in the store area was awesome.. sweet, helpful and sincere it's to bad he isn't a server, they could take tips off him for customer service.. the store is always fun to walk around and has a lot of unique gifts which helped me end my meal with a better attitude..

Pulled up to this location as the mangers were outside dusting lights and cleaning up the parking lot. It was really nice to see them being on top of cleaning and up keeping the outside. Soon as we walked through the doors the smell was amazing along with the many beautiful decorations they had set up throughout the gift shop. We were seated right away next to a window. My daughter and I snook out for mommy daughter time. Our server was Stephanie. She greeted us promptly and she was very polite and welcoming. We ordered the mommas pancake breakfast and mommas French toast. Our food was out so quickly and our order was cooked perfectly. This was the best meal I’ve had at Cracker Barrel in a long time. I added the loaded hash brown casserole and it was delicious! You must try if you haven’t ordered it! We needed a box because we couldn’t finish. Then we ordered my hubby the country fried chicken to go. The food came out so quick and looked amazing! (I did sneak some of the chicken when we got home. . . Omg so amazing!! )I thought about taking pictures as we were half way through because of how delicious the food was. They don’t do it justice! My nanny Sue D was a training manager here for almost 20 years. You all really rocked it out of the park! Thankyou for such a perfect breakfast!

Consummate Service and Culinary Experiences at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

A warm waft of homely dishes and the friendly chatter of customers welcome you as you step into what is more than just an average restaurant; the Cracker Barrel. Based on personal etcetera and evaluations from several authoritative restaurateurs and culinary enthusiasts, one can confidently state that the Cracker Barrel consistently delivers on its promise of excellent food and impeccable service.

Strolling in, one is embraced by an atmosphere that harks back to the good old times - gentle lighting casting long homely shadows over rustic wooden tables, antique memorabilia adorning the walls, and a cashier's counter that doubles as an old-school country store. This relaxed ambiance, curated with influences from Southern American traditions, immediately calms one's nerves and sets the stage for the gastronomic journey that lies ahead.

The heart and soul of the Cracker Barrel lie in its rich cuisine, with recipes steeped in country tradition yet reinvented in a manner that caters to contemporary tastes. The menu is a thoughtful mix of classic comfort dishes and innovative reinterpretations, fueling nostalgic longings in some while sparking curiosity in the adventurous. The soul-nurturing Chicken n’ Dumplings, a signature of Cracker Barrel, embodies the restaurant's culinary philosophy. The delectable dish carries the hint of sage in its fluffy dumplings and the warm, comforting taste of chicken slow-cooked to perfection.

Likewise, the Southern Fried Chicken stands out as an exquisite culinary piece, amassing high praise for its perfect golden-crusted exterior and the exceptional tenderness of the bird within. Turn to desserts, and the scrumptious Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake, offers a sweet finale that seamlessly fuses chocolate and soda to create an explosion of unique flavours in one's mouth.

The experience at Cracker Barrel transcends the delightful food. The staff exude genuine warmth and earnest enthusiasm that accentuate the dining experience. Observations and personal encounters unanimously testify to the spotless efficiency, polite demeanour, and readiness to assist epitomised in their service. Their ability to anticipate needs often materialises your requirements before you even voice them.

Furthermore, the staff members are always willing to delve into charming anecdotes about the food and the restaurant, connecting the customers with the heritage of the Cracker Barrel and thus ensuring their service as an essential extension of the dining experience rather than a mere accessory.

In conclusion, the Cracker Barrel merges the best elements of a restaurant, heartfelt food and service, curating a dining experience that stays with you long after your visit. The testimonies of endless satisfied customers and commendations from culinary authorities render the Cracker Barrel a culinary institution that has stood the...

I’ve eaten here for a very long time, nearly 20 years. The breakfast here is probably the best in town. As of June 11, 2025, whoever they have in the back cooking needs a raise. I’ve had all their breakfast and it’s been phenomenal.

My only bad experience is when I did an online order for vehicle pickup. Pick up was for 7:45AM, I was there at 8:00AM, as I backed my truck up an older lady was dropping food off for another customer in Spot 1 and I was parked in Spot 3. I was like, ok, she sees me and I already filled out the information for my make, model, color of my vehicle and I should have my food in a few minutes. 20 minutes later I had to call to tell them I was there. Got home and food was ice cold and pancakes were soggy and water down from all the condensation. I think it was the manager that had to drop off my food and he apologized, because they were short staffed. I wasn’t upset or anything, I was just sad my food was going to be cold and soggy. The microwave can’t fix everything unfortunately.

I figured old people and technology don’t mix and this place is for old people. No offense, but it’s a fact. Regardless, I had empathy for the situation because my parents are the same exact way. They’re extremely traditional. I figure next time around I’d be more traditional and eat inside.

So far I’ve eaten inside a few times for breakfast and all their food has been incredible. The Homestyle Fried Chicken with gravy is amazing. The scrambled eggs are from a carton. When you’ve eaten liquid carton eggs for a decade in the U.S. Military, you know the taste and texture. I would recommend getting something over easy if you want authentic eggs. The grits are exceptionally good as well. Not runny or too thick. Their Eggs Benedict on a country biscuit is good. Their hollandaise sauce is very good. It’s not too buttery tasting and is balanced. The eggs are not cooked poached but over easy. If they had some smoked salmon, probably be the best Florida Eggs Benedict in the state.

If you’re looking for fast, don’t expect good food. Food is going to take time to make and the food reflects the quality here. Regardless if it’s pre-prepared, pre-packaged, or whatever, the food is excellent here. I like the $6 food you get to take home option. The meatloaf and mac-n-cheese is pretty good for what it is.

I haven’t had the lunch or dinner, but I assume since their Fried Chicken with Gravy was so damn good, their lunch/dinner has to be the same.

I’ve been to quite a few locations and this is the best one so far. I’m grateful it’s not too far away from the house and for the people that work here. Thank you to everyone who works at this location and providing me a...

Easy to find at Kings Highway and Veterans Blvd, one of my favorite restaurants, Cracker Barrel Restaurant, stands as a beacon of Southern charm and hospitality. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the warm embrace of nostalgia, the tantalizing scent of home-cooked meals, and the promise of a dining experience that feels like coming home.

One of the hallmarks of Cracker Barrel is its welcoming ambiance, reminiscent of a cozy country store. Rocking chairs line the front porch, inviting guests to relax and soak in the laid-back atmosphere. Inside, the décor is rustic and inviting, with wooden accents, antique knick-knacks, and old-fashioned candy displays that harken back to simpler times.

But it's not just the ambiance that sets Cracker Barrel apart – it's the food. I love the "Old Timer's" Breakfast! The menu is a treasure trove of Southern favorites, with dishes that are hearty and flavorful. I enjoy the traditional comfort food classics like fried chicken, meatloaf, or chcken and dumplings.

One cannot speak of Cracker Barrel without mentioning their legendary breakfast offerings. From fluffy buttermilk pancakes and golden hashbrown casserole to savory biscuits smothered in creamy sawmill gravy, breakfast at Cracker Barrel is a feast fit for a king. And let's not forget the mouthwatering country ham, perfectly crispy bacon, and farm-fresh eggs cooked to perfection.

But perhaps what truly sets Cracker Barrel apart is its commitment to quality and service. The staff at Cracker Barrel are more than just servers – they're stewards of Southern hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well cared for. Whether it's a friendly smile, a helpful recommendation, or a warm conversation, the staff at Cracker Barrel make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in the door.

In conclusion, our visit to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant is a true American institution – a place where good food, good company, and good times come together in perfect harmony. When I need a meal that is comforting, Cracker Barrel delivers an experience that's as satisfying as it is memorable. So grab a rocking chair, pull up a seat, and prepare to indulge in a little slice of Southern heaven. You'll be...
