Rent-A-Center — Local services in Port Orange

So I have never rented furniture before. I needed some furniture for international guest who were staying at my home for a month. I first went on Facebook marketplace to see what was available. All I saw was furniture I couldn't use. Then I thought about going to Rent A Center Port Orange and was pleasantly surprised to find entire matching sets of furniture and appliances that were not only beautiful but also clean, bug free, deliverable and at a cheap price. Solved my problem immediately. The customer service is where my happiness began. The ladies who showed us the furniture and helped us setup the payments and delivery were top notch and easily worked with us. However, we didn't realize the best was yet to come, the delivery and set up service. They were fantastic. Two experience men came in and delivered and installed all the furniture. Hauling upstairs 2 large couches, a coffee table, two end tables and 2 lamps to the second floor without scratching or damaging anything. The entire operation took only 20 minutes and our room went from zero to hero in that time. Fantastic! When the rental time was up the same two guys showed up again, removed everything and left the room clean and damage free. Amazing! I didn't lift a finger to do anything, all part of the service. Much respect and kudos to all the staff at Rent A Center...

Do Not shop at this RAC location. I recently purchased out right a mattress from the lovely Denise herself. Only to find that she switched out mattresses on me before delivery. She sold me a bed that had been covered in stains from top to bottom from the previous renter. An uncomfortable amount of unknown specimen was left on this mattress. Once I confronted her about my recent discovery she denied having anything to do with the ol switch a rue. Unfortunately Denise did not practice the 3 values of the RAC company 1 she did not have a winning spirit 2 she did not act with a servants heart 3 she did not treat others how you want to be treated This women did not fallow any of the RAC core values. I’m hurt and confused as to why these people did not find my concerns relevant to our business agreement. I was a reliable customer, who paid on time throughout our rental agreement. And also referred them another sale. Because I purchased my merchandise out right And am no longer a “renter” they believe they aren’t responsible for their actions. 5 Out of 5 Stars FTW!!! Just wanted to say how great this team is. Not everyone can afford a huge lump sum for the nicer things in life. This place breaks it down into a very manageable weekly or bi-weekly rate anyone can afford. The team here and their manager Denise are just awesome. As long as you keep lines of communication open they will work with you and do whatever they can to help you keep what you are working so hard for. If you work with them they will do what they can to help through life's ups and downs. I would never ever consider going elsewhere, not even to another Rent-A-Center. Keep up open communication and these guys will always get your back! More businesses should be as dedicated to working with the customers who do their part as this team is with me. It is simply always a pleasurable experience no matter what curve ball I receive in a given week.
