Buschman Park — Attraction in Port Orange

A beautiful, peaceful walk around a lake that always offers a show of jumping fish, silly squirrels, and native waterfowl. At one end there is a public restroom, complete with a water tap to provide a drink to your four-legged friend. Pet friendly, with a poop bag station as well. Bonus 'free library' station box to donate or borrow books. There are also multiple trails leading out from this park to explore. A Great and Peaceful place for Families🌟 There is a small fenced in play area with rock wall and slides. Restrooms and drinking water are available. There is a small book share box near the restrooms. Bring a book to swap or donate📚 A nice little workout circuit area. Several picnic tables. A small boardwalk. Nice park , fishing during day but needs improvement with security. Not recommended to bring children or come alone due to population of homeless people . Was approached by a young couple who followed me through walk trail and back to my car . I left without incident but I wouldn't put it past these people, always watch your surroundings and NEVER go to this park alone . Don't feel safe nor will I be taking my children there until it is cleared from offenders . I hope port orange tackles this soon bc we loved that park ! Let's clean...
