Trash. Called about staging. Customer service is super important to me, but I brace myself when calling informal companies so I'm not jolted.
Got jolted anyway: Answers the phone "Yes?" I brush it off. We eventually get to the quote: "Oh, I have to call the venue directly before I can send you a quote to make sure we can leave the stage there until Monday."
..What?
Whatever. I ask "Sure....but can I get a ballpark, at least? No point if it's too expensive." She quotes, then at the end of the phone call, she asks "Hey is there an elevator in this venue?"
"...No?"
"Oh we can't do it at all, we can't carry staging up a flight of stairs"

That's where Special event services came into play. I needed seating for the memorial for my Dad and brother. They were quick to give me a quote, paying and reserving online was simple. Understanding the “shortage of staff” situation they are going though; I offered to arrange pick up myself. I wish they were honest from day one. Specially after I already showed the items to the bride.
