Iām plus-size, and I went in to buy a top. It was super cute, and I loved it. Anyway, when I went to pay, the cashier told me, āPlus-size items are all final sale( I asked about return policy).ā She also stated that XL was considered plus-size. It wasnāt just what she said, but the way she said it⦠it came off really snarky.
I had only asked about the return policy because I wasnāt sure if the top would match the skirt I planned to wear it with. Despite how she made me feel, I still went to pay. Then she told me I had to pay in cash or scan a QR code because I was buying a plus-size item. She said curve isnāt apart of the store??? Like what okayā¦..
I felt humiliated and extremely uncomfortable. I donāt know if it was just that employee, but shopping as a heavier person is already difficult. To be singled out and face extra hurdles just because of my size really hurt.

Now that being their fault and the weekend getting in between I am not able to return the boots through USPS back until Monday morning due to USPS being closed on weekends. I was hoping I had those boots in by Wednesday since they were part of my Thanksgiving outfit and I figured since it was an error on their end the moment I send them proof I've sent the boots back they'll do something for me and send the correct boots like in some type of express shipping or something but on the other hand they had the audacity to tell me if I wanted them on time I would have to pay my own express shipping or same day shipping cause they don't offer it. BUT yet it was an error on their end and I made my order on time so I could get my boots on time which I did but I received the wrong ones. So sad they can't even do a one time same day delivery for an error...
