This is such a great spot for board games & great refreshments. The store has a large library of games you can try out before deciding to buy, which makes it easy to discover new favorites. They also serve boba tea and fresh crepes, which are perfect for a snack break in between intense games. The space itself is clean, open, and welcoming, with plenty of room for both casual play and larger events. The staff are helpful and approachable, and they enjoy sharing their knowledge of the games. They also host tournaments, which bring a fun sense of community and give regulars and newcomers a chance to connect. We ended up staying until close because we were enjoying everything so much. It’s an easy place to lose track of time in the best way. Overall, it’s a well-run space with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new game, enjoy fresh crepes, play with friends, or join a tournament, this is a great place to unwind and invest in a hobby that never gets old.

Great new games store, game library and tournament room where you can play anytime there’s space. (Lots of space right now). They are also building private game rooms as well. Super friendly and helpful staff who are passionate about games. Great boba tea (with half-sweet option), chicken crepes, vegetarian crepes and sweet ones (PBJ, Nutella & Apple pie) with GF options. Tournaments are planned and they are gearing up for kids rpg (D&D etc…). We’ve been here many times and my kid loves it! Check the calendar for events.

Bottom line, I will be bringing my game group here to host tournaments from now on. I had the pleasure of being at Capes and Crepes during the tournament last weekend and honestly this place is the my new favorite board game spot in town. Huge space, lots of open tables and a massive library of brand new games to try. We played through 5 of them the whole day, had some perfectly made boba tea (the classic milk tea is killer) and the crepes were amazing. I will be back. Often.

Capes and Crepes was such a delightful experience! The shop has a cozy modern vibe and offers a fantastic selection of crepes and boba at their cafe. I tried a sweet crepe filled with Nutella and strawberries, and it was the BOMB! Perfectly made and more than satisfying.

What made the visit even better was their impressive library of board games. We spent hours playing a few different titles, and it was so much fun! I loved how the staff was friendly and willing to help us pick out games that fit our group.

I also had the chance to chat with the owner, who shared his journey of starting his shop. It’s clear he’s passionate about creating a welcoming space for gamers of all ages.

Overall, I had an amazing time at Capes and Crepes. Great food, fun games, and a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back quite frequently, even if it is...

I have been here several times, because I was looking at a nearby apartment. After even just the first time we stopped by we factored it in as an asset and decided we wanted to live nearby.

Tonight, as new people in town, we were lonely and bored and went in to play some games. We are interested in Riftbound, but hadn't played.

Elysian walked us through the basics of the game and got us started. They were so warm and kind and our interaction with them completely turned our day around.

We ended up talking about MTG, ttrpgs, Riftbound and even indie games.

This place is so welcoming and great. We are stoked we will...
