I feel like I would need to write 100 reviews to say all the great things I want to say about thus organization, from the work the founder does to bring yoga to people in prison, to the adaptive yoga classes, to the teacher trainings, there's a lot to love. But what has kept me coming back is the teachers. Start with an Amrita class with Sarahjoy, a Bo Yoga class with Nate, and a restorative class with Heather Smith. Sure, it is a bit expensive, but unfortunately that is the case for all Yoga studios in the Portland area and Daya is actually less expensive for monthly passes than other studios in the area that I’ve looked at. Daya has great classes, wonderful instructors, excellent assistive devices, and an atmosphere that welcomes all people from all walks of life with all abilities.
