I could not speak more highly of North West Women’s Fitness and Personal Training. I was at corporate gyms for over a decade. All those years, I wasn’t moving my body in the ways I needed to because men would gawk at or approach me so I would modify my routine to avoid their inevitable harassment. I could write a book on this, but I’ll spare you the details. However at NW Women’s Fitness, I am safe to exist in my body and not only has been a huge relief mentally, but I’m in the best shape of my life because my energy is actually able to focus on mind muscle connection rather than avoiding men. There are different kinds of women here and everyone is genuinely friendly. Additionally the space is extremely clean, NWWF went above and beyond with pandemic protocols. I really like the layout and they have every machine a person would need. The air conditioning saved my life during the heat wave. Let me tell you about these instructors. QUALITY. Vanessa is the best instructor I’ve ever had at a gym ever. I have no idea how she sounds so pleasant while doing all those sets and really pushes each of us and makes sure we have options that work with everyones body / go at our own pace. Ive taken all the morning cycling classes, yoga, body pump and get a lot out of all of them. Thank you Debra, Elizabeth #1 and the whole team for existing. I...
Read moreThis is a terrible gym to actually workout in. The classes here are extremely easy and the majority of people are either sitting around talking or older people doing mobility exercises. No hate on mobility but the constant sitting on machines and talking were annoying.
All of this would be totally fine just slightly annoying but the real problem is the personal trainers - they are horribly rude. I was there for a month and every single time I went to the gym a trainer would take the equipment I was using or come sit or put their papers on the box or machine I was using. Once while I was literally jumping on a box the angry blond trainer put her clipboard down in front of me and told me to move then proceeded to Not even use the box. And I don’t have a problem with sharing! But this wasn’t sharing this was just rudeness for the sake of proving they owned the place. There were identical pieces of equipment being unused they could have had. I was literally never able to finish a workout without having to move for them - often multiple times in an hour workout.
If you’re here for the saunas and the yoga it’s chill the facilities are very nice but if your goal is to get a workout in I would just go to a 24 hour it’s cheaper and the people working there...
Read moreI do not recommend them to anyone.
NW Womens fitness is small, expensive and the staff isn’t trustworthy.
I called them months ago to cancel my membership, and I went there myself on the same day to assure that everything was properly cancelled. The lady at the front desk informed me that yes everything was canceled. I asked about the email they’ve sent me and she said it was just a survey to not worry about it.
After that they kept charging my credit card, because according to them I was supposed to sign the email when I went to the gym myself and they should’ve told me that????
I then asked to be refunded and the manager only gave me one month back, she refuses to refund the second month that I have paid without knowing, without my consent.
I had to call them several times and I even had to go there myself, still the manager refuses to give me...
