
Cute park in the Kerns neighborhood. Amenities include basketball courts, playground, and merry-go-round. Bathrooms and water fountains are in operation from around memorial day to about the end of September. There are paved trails through the park and wide open areas for recreation.
The park is handicap accessible but all parking is on-street and the streets around the park are rather narrow, so be ready to find a place that's right for you.
This park is a great spot for a little recreation with the kids, or playing frisbee in the open areas. Like many SE Portland parks there are tall trees and the whole place feels close to nature despite being in the middle of the city. Just be careful in the rainy season, as the field gets pretty muddy and the trails get slippery...
